What is a country format?

What is a ‘Country Format’ smartphone?
Many smartphone manufacturers adapt their products to meet the needs of a country or region. This means that the appearance and design of the physical product is similar or identical, but the software may be localised based on the language or technical configuration (e.g. it may start with a different language as the default). These products will contain a user manual and accessories (e.g. charger) based on the specific needs of that country or region.
Can I use these smartphones in the UK?
In most cases these smartphones will work with UK mobile networks, however we recommend that you check with your network or carrier before you buy it. There may also be features that are limited or not enabled for the UK, so we also recommend that you check with the manufacturer for any features that are not available in the UK. When you set up your smartphone, you will be presented with the option to select the language you want to use, or you can select a different language in settings afterwards. Excellent phone, fast screen refresh, super fast in games etc. Order arrived the next day (sooner than expected), has global rom and usual xiaomi warranty. Quite heavy but you soon get used to it. Came with EU charger but also with a UK one in packaging, plus a USB c to headphone adapter. Battery last two days, finger print scanner very fast as is face unlock. Highly recommended.

We’ll work the money. The camera is better than the IPhone & it can do more than the iPhone. Charges really fast. It’s full screen and very clear. The phone has gorilla glass, which is what I wanted. Broke several iPhone easily when dropped by my children. I dropped this phone and nothing happened. It kept on working. However, as I was just getting used to it, AT&T called & advised that the phone won’t work on their network come February 2022. I tried T-mobile & had to reset several time. My face recognition did not work. The phone said it wouldn’t. Not sure why, maybe the network. I noticed all American carriers seem to be pushing Apple which is not as good as it used to be. This Xioami is an international phone. If the networks would allow it to work here, I’d choose it over Apple.

Me llegó sellado de fábrica y con adaptador de regalo. Ya tengo usándolo un poco más de un mes, es un celular excelente, muy rápido, puedo jugar Genshin Impact sin que se ponga lento, se calienta un poco después de un rato pero tampoco juego mucho así que no es problema. Toma unas fotos excelentes y tiene aún muchas funciones que no he descubierto. Lo compré principalmente por el 5G ya que no pienso cambiarlo pronto y más vale estar preparado.
A pesar de que no tiene puerto 3.5mm, dentro de la caja viene un adaptador para esto (gracias Xiaomi :D)
