Good but not great.
I have large window (130x155) so purchased the biggest size. The size is good.I put the blackout blind 24 hours ago and it has stayed up perfectly since then. In fact it was quite fiddly to put up which is why I haven't taken it down! Most of the suckers adhered to the window well, but there were a few that it took a long time you persuade them to stick.It does not totally blackout the light. You can see some through the material, although not much. The biggest issue is the light getting in around the sides. This is because the suckers are too close to the edge, ideally they should be an inch in but they aren't. If I could get them to stick on the uPVC frame that wouldn't be so much of an issue but they won't.However it has helped us sleep so it's not a terrible purchase. Could be better designed though.

To begin with I thought it was expensive but for the quality and performance and for what it achieves which is great sleep for a young one - it's priceless.

This is the second blackout curtain I've bought and the performance is spot on for both of them.

It blocks out the light even during the day. Obviously this will depend on the size of the window you're covering and where it's possible to place the suction cups.

I've travelled with this several times and every time it works as expected and blocks out the majority of light. Its a very versatile product. And there's velcro to help reduce the size depending on the window size you're covering.

Pros:
- thick material which blocks out the light
- durable
- can be reshaped for different sized windows
- strong suction (when fitted correctly)
- portable and versatile
- easy to install and remove

Cons:
- suctions can fail sometimes and need refitting

I would recommend this to parents tying to make their little ones rooms dark at varying points of the day.

I bought this portable blind to darken the room on holidays for my 9 months old baby that wakes up with the first ray of light. I've tried ir in different window sizes and worked find in all of them.

Pros: the suction cups work fine and there are plenty of them. It is pretty big but it can also be adjusted to the window by shortening it's length and width with fastenings. It comes with a bag to put it away neatly. Lastly and most important it actually darkens the room a lot.

Cons: it's very difficult to achieve 100% blackout in the room as there is always a bit of light coming from the edges by the window frame. It's quite time consuming to adjust and attach it to the window, but worth it when going on holiday.

Overall, it's a good blind for making a room dark on the go. However, if you are looking for an everyday solution to darken the room maybe a blackout curtain might be better as it can be time consuming fitting this blind on a daily basis.

The window cover itself is good at blocking most of the light out. There will always be some cracks where the light comes through but for what it is works well. I did notice however when the sun is out it attracts all the heat making the hotter and you can’t open the window as it lets all the light in. I had different black out cover last year which where black but had a silver cover for window side and it kept the room cooler, they were a pain though as the Velcro stickers would come away a lot so I thought this one would be better. Maybe change they design so it reflects lights and not attract it
