Skechers shoes are some of the most comfortable footwear I own. My old pair of slippers was starting to wear down on the bottom, and I needed a new, warm pair that would cushion my feet well because I am prone to plantar fasciitis. I thought I would try these slippers to see if they were as good as Skechers sneakers or boots. I'm happy to say they are very comfortable and warm, and do provide some padding beneath my soles, if not exactly full arch support. I could add supportive insoles into these slippers if I wanted to though - the slightly loose fit would allow for that.
Normally size 6 Skechers are a perfect fit for me; I went ahead and ordered the same size for these slippers. I would say they feel a touch loose to me - not to the extent that I can't wear the slippers comfortably. But I suspect I could have gone down half a size, or even a whole size and the fit might have been a little more snug.
I particularly like the soft fur on the inside of the slippers, as that keeps my feet warm and toasty while feeling a little luxurious. On the whole I would recommend these, with a slight caveat about the sizing running a touch large. They look well made - the stitching, the soles, the materials all look solid and good - and if they last as long as I suspect they will, I don't anticipate having to buy another pair for a long time now.
