First of all it doesn't work with my Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 (description says it does), and this is the first time that I see a memory card without its actually memory, it's not 512GB it's actually 477GB, that is a lot of memory missing. UPDATE: Actually needed a quick format on the Laptop, works perfectly.

I bought this in October 2023 and am TOTALLY DELIGHTED with it and decided to buy another one (for my son) in January 2024.

My ONLY complaint is that I paid £26.99 in October and had to pay £33 in January!!!!!!!!

Apart from a very high price increase (sadly), the card is FIRST CLASS and even at it's "new" price, it's still great value - very great value when you consider that one can store more than a QUARTER OF A MILLION 2mb photos on it (of course, less when using higher resolutions and taking videos).

Finally, just beware of the many "unknown" named cards of this size (and even of 1tb) that one can find for very low prices (I have seen them for less than £8!!!!!!) on other sites (no names now but they're very well known!!!) as, from personal experience, they are NOT worth "a penny" unless you're totally prepared to LOSE many photos when least expected!!

As they say - if it looks cheap, it normally is!!!!!

The SD card adapter which came with it was useful as my laptop had a card reader slot. Works well with my android phone. Gives around 475gb usable memory rest is for system which can't be formatted. But considering the price & genuine original Samsung card, I am ok to sacrifice bit of memory at this price.

I have owned this SD Card for roughly 5 months now, it's seen almost daily usage and is still chugging along just fine.

The actual performance on this is MORE than enough for most PC games. I have intense games like RDR2, GTA V and so on this. And, although you will get long loading screens and the odd texture pop-in. It performs well

It actually outperforms my old Hard Drive. So I'm impressed!

If you're into emulation, have Steam Deck, ROG handheld or Lenovo Legion and need a fast, cheap and reliable SD card for storage then this is a good option.

Another reviewer demonstrated not getting the full performance out of this sd card and I'm at loss as to why. This is my 3rd samsung sd card and this one perform as the other. From the screen capture you can note I've already transfered 150gb on the SD card and it was at a consistant 80-90 mb/s which is pretty much maxing my dock ever provided.

I use a cheappy transcend usb3 dock for this.

While writing this review I've transfered a 38gb folder to the sdcard and from the transfer window in windows it was a flat 84mb/sec for the whole thing.

I use one like that ( but 256gb ) in my gopro 10 and ultra slo-mo ( 2.7k at 240 fps ) in maximum quality bitrate work without complaining of a slow card ( you know if you had the warning once ).

My only complain is Samsung naming of the cardssss. Evo select, evo plus, pro ultimate, pro endurance, some are blue, some are white, some are white and red .... Having a clear lineup of this card is for this with these performance and a certain coherence between the physical appearance would be awesome.
