I got mine free with the tablet. At that price, I'm very happy, but I would not pay the full price.

It is a nice cover, the magnetic fit is superb, the keyboard feels nice, and it looks good. However, it's not great for non-keyboard every day use. Several people that I know with one have said that they love it, but it gets damaged by everyday use then they are paying a lot of money for a replacement.

If you are happy with the price, it is superb.

For this review, I was asked to rate the "Battery life" and "Screen quality" of the product but neither exists, it's a cover that magnetically attaches to the tablet to create a slim cover. The keyboard is activated once the tablet is connected to the pins.

My only con is the magnetic attachment, I'm heavy-handed and a little clumsy which means the cover detaches easily. I would have loved a better attachment method.

This particular cover came as a gift at time of purchase and whilst impressed with the boxing and aesthetics I very soon found it covered in fingerprints and that it flopped under the tablets weight unless counter balanced. Also docking requires it at a specific angle to "connect" which with the flopping was incredibly frustrating plus slightly damaged the clear protective coating around the tablet terminals which vexed me! Having said that I eventually, because there is no start up guide and being new to Samsung I didn't know about it, discovered a user manual in the settings. This very importantly informs of utilising the "DeX" software for connectivity which NEEDS TO BE SET TO GO ON AUTOMATICALLY! THIS WAS THE GAME CHANGER because now physical connection became easier and the tablet started to function similar to a laptop. Kept in the correct position I now wouldn't be without a book cover for increased static productivity! It really does make that much difference, however this version has no mouse pad as seen on the Samsung extras website plus the manual mentions that the keys can be backlit through a function tab. I thus conclude that this is a cheap tier generic cover and although useful and well designed my frustrations mentioned means I wouldn't advise purchasing this specific model separately. However with it being a free gift at time of purchase it's well worth it IF YOU ARE AWARE IF THE POINTS noted. I would suggest that Samsung make it an actual official inclusion to the purchase on this basis or offer a discount to improved models alongside future purchases otherwise because the tablet protection factor plus knowledgeable productivity enhancement a book cover offer almost makes it a necessity unless purchasing a tablet for pure creative consumption. If I hadn't experienced the issues noted and was aware before hand I wouldn't be so personally disappointed which is why I felt it to be a duty to add this review! The tablet itself is amazing so if reading and the cover is no longer a gift please just take this as an advisory fir the extra.
