I have owned the Galaxy buds2 for a long time. These became water damaged ( my fault) and lost noise cancelling which is a huge need for me. I listen to music but mainly speach podcasts or audio books daily in noisy environments.First to say these do clearly have better sound from lows to highs and that's a good thing. Re the fit, for me its not as good as buds2 but clearly thats an individual thing, however the shape does make it easier to use these in bed for my nightly podcast. As for the massively upgraded noise cancelling, im definitely not getting that at all and don't find it any different to my old buds 2. This is my only reason for the 4 star rating and not a 5. I try to always give an honest useful review.

This must be one of the most comfortable pairs of earbuds that I have ever worn.
The noise cancelling is excellent, which means you don't need to turn the volume up very high to be able to hear all the nuances of your favourite sounds.
I'm no audiophile, but I must say that Orinoco Flow sounds really good through these - not too much bass or treble , but really really rich, something I could only get with over the ear headphones until now.
The only negative really is the poor battery life of around 4.5 hours, but that should be plenty for all but the longest of listening sessions. Also, if a bigger battery was put into the buds, I suspect they wouldn't be nearly as comfortable as they are.
Great value also on Amazon, currently being around £100 cheaper than elsewhere.

Bought them with my new phone, so far I'm impressed with the active noise cancelling and the clarity of the sound in calls and playback.

The app can be a bit fiddly to set up, but once done it's OK. One drawback is that if you loose them in a bag or coat pocket and try to use the Smart Things app to find them that app ONLY works with the case lid open and if the device has power!!! How daft is that? Come on Samsung, fix this for the next upgrade please.

They fit well once I found the correct ear tip and are comfortable to wear for an extended period. I have not tested their IP rating yet.

They are at the higher end of the buds genre and I think that if you want good sound performance and comfort fit then that costs, in that respect I think they are good value for the money, there may be better out ther from other manufacturers,(e.g.Sennheiser) but so far I have not been disappointed, the finding app notwithstanding.

Good quality buds, great quality sound, fair price. I used the galaxy buds live before. I thought that was good quality, until I upgraded to these. They fit great in my ears, (once I figured out which one is the right attachment. It is also the exact same size as the previous model. That means I can keep using my lovely spigen case on them.
The battery is great as well! I'm not using them permanently so they last me for days. ANC is also amazing! Does a fantastic job filtering the noise. In regular mode, they block the sound a bit. And ambient mode makes you hear as well as you would without them in your ears. They are configured in a brilliant way, so when in ambient mode, they will still block some loud sounds like emergency services sirens, honks, loud screaks and hissings.

 These galaxy buds 2 pro are very nice. I am comparing these to Huawei freebuds pro 2.
The sound quality is too sharp on these meaning words with a 'S' in it hurt my ears. The freebuds 2 pro were more balanced but the galaxy buds are louder and have more bass overall.

The freebuds fit better in my ears and the galaxy buds I had to buy different eartips because they kept falling out.

The touch controls on the galaxy buds are responsive but if the earpiece is too loose and you try to adjust it keeps messing with the controls, but if you have a good fit the touch controls work great. The squeeze controls on the freebuds work very well and the sliding also works nicely.
The weight is less on the galaxy buds but the freebuds feel lighter in the ears.

The case and buds are a little heavier on the freebuds whereas the galaxy buds are a little lighter.
The freebuds last about 2-3 hours for me with transparency/awareness/ambient mode on whereas the galaxy buds lasted an hour or 2 longer.
The app allows more features for the galaxy buds whereas the freebuds are a bit more limited in features.

Noise cancelling and ambient/awareness mode(transparency)
The galaxy buds when using properly sealed tips have slightly better nosie cancelling than the freebuds but if you use the stock eartips the freebuds have better noise cancelling. The ambient mode is slightly better on the galaxy buds and has a option to boost that even more whereas the freebuds has a slightly more muffled sound but very little.

If you have a Huawei or prefer the design of the freebuds get them but if the design of the galaxybuds suit you and you have a Samsung phone get the galaxy buds instead.

Samsung have managed to make the new version of their buds pro sound worse. Unfortunately the previous gen are now even more expensive. Not worth the money. They lack mid, too much treble and overall sound muddy and cheap.

Aside from this, the left bud had a constant buzzing sound if noise cancelling was on. Once music was playing it wasn't as noticeable. However it's still a sign of a manufacturing error and I would expect better quality control for what's supposed to be a higher end earbud. Wouldn't waste your money on these

So as the title says I highly recommend this product, for a number of reasons, it's a price friendly option while still being good quality, it's sound and features are great, it was easy to set up, it looks nice in the ear, it's Mic I've been told is good in calls, even in wind. So many things to love, if your looking for a good pair of earbuds but don't want to spend a ton on them I recommend this budget friendly and good pair of earbuds, only thing I could say I don't like is maybe the fit isn't as good as I would hope, but it's not much of an issue, and the anc and transparency mode work just fine. This is around 1 month later.

Son unos audifonos muy completos, sus principales caracteristicas es su ergonomia en cuanto a la construccion y en mi opinion son de los mas comodos que he probado tanto para dormir como para usarlos haciendo ejercicio. Yo di el salto de unos buds live a este modelo y quede mas que contento con lo que ofrecen, tienen una cancelacion de ruido decente para ser asi de pequeños y su configuracion de fabrica es bastante buena la firma de audio con AKG se nota y tiene buena repoduccion de sonidos y detalles.

Es una compra inteligente si, pero tiene unos contras como el hecho de que tienes que descargar la app de Samsung Wearable y su pluggin para poderlos usar al máximo, sin contar que también disfrutas de mejores prestaciones si lo usas con un dispositivo de la misma marca, esto es algo que a muchos probablemente no les guste escuchar, pero siendo usuario de XIAOMI y SAMSUNG no he tenido problemas de conectividad y mucho menos he notado una gran diferencia en cuanto al audio, aunque esto dependera tambien del equipo que tengas y el software que maneje para el audio.
