when I bought this I thought a Samsung would be a safe buy. I was wrong. This phone wil NOT last much more than a year.Although it cost 200% more than last years model, its functionality is no different with one MAJOR differnce. Samsung has BUILT IN OBSOLESCENCE. which means its been manufactured to switch off after 13 months. The pristine phone in its tough waterproof case just randomly switched itself off yesterday on 31st Dec, 1 month past its 1 year manufacturers warranty! What a cheek! £260 wasted just becasue Samsung wants you to buy a new smartphone. Look at A53 5G SM-A536B reviews; you will see this is a common issue. Samsung is not the ethical brand it used to be. I will never buy Samsung after this. AVOID this model.

I'm very impressed with this phone at this price.
It has a great screen and battery life and a solid build.
The processor speed is just fine for most things - as long as you're not doing high-end gaming or editing long high-quality videos all the time, it's great.
it gives you the option to install extra Samsung Apps or not and it's very friendly with Microsoft services if you use them.
In addition, it takes a Micro SD card, so you can cheaply and easily upgrade the storage.
It would be cool if it had a headphone jack, and the fingerprint reader was on the power button instead, but it's still it's a remarkably good value.

The phone is easy to use and so far no problems. The photo side is really good.
I am an SLR user. I was after a good camera phone and think this works well.I
I do miss an optical zoom. But for the money all the other types of photography
work well. The night photography is amazing. The macro is good allowing very close up.
The portrait allows you to blur the background really like.
The editing app is really good. Although I would like to make a copy
that is still changeable within the app. Have not been able to find a way of doing this yet.
So still using photoshop. Best photo setting a good addition.
Really like this phone.

So if you OK to have freezes every 4-6 seconds and which last up to 10 seconds - go ahead and buy one.
I was checking reviews and it was mentioned laggs, but I wasn't expecting to see proper freezes like that. It feels like very old computer which will take 10 minutes just to turn on and if you accidentally pressed wrong button that's it, you wait for it to unfreeze for like another 10 min, same case here, absolutely unusable phone, sadly. That performance I expect and OK for budget of £100 but not more....

We bought this phone in January 2023 and recently it started to perform poor. The calls don't go through. We have Verizon and rarely have connection issues. Bit this phone acts weird. Even when my son is at home and I call him, i redirected to the voice message. He has to restart his phone completely. Still it won't take any calls after a while. The apps are also not convenient to use on the main screen. It is getting frustrated when you cannot reach your child. We have to update his phone.

Ho fatto l'acquisto di questo telefonino l'anno scorso per la prima volta e devo dire che ne sono rimasto estremamente soddisfatto. Vorrei sottolineare la straordinaria luminosità del display, che supporta un refresh rate di 120Hz, garantendo un'esperienza visiva notevole. Con la versione da 128GB, ho a disposizione uno spazio di archiviazione più che sufficiente per le mie esigenze. Questo è il mio secondo acquisto del medesimo modello, nonostante la presenza del modello successivo sul mercato. Ho ritenuto che l'upgrade non valesse la differenza di prezzo, considerando la già elevata qualità di questo dispositivo.

La ragione principale per il mio riacquisto è dovuta al fatto che il mio primo telefono è diventato inutilizzabile a seguito di una caduta che ha danneggiato irrimediabilmente il display. È stato un colpo duro, ma la durata della batteria ottimale, che riesce a coprire l'intera giornata a seconda dell'utilizzo, e le efficienti funzioni di riconoscimento dell'impronta e del viso, hanno pesato nella mia decisione di rimanere fedele a questo modello.

Tuttavia, un punto di riflessione va al software preinstallato, che a tratti non è stato di mio gradimento. Nonostante questo, l'interfaccia è abbastanza reattiva e, nel complesso, l'esperienza d'uso è positiva.
