All new smartphones seem to have 6.5 inch or larger screens and are so much bulkier to carry around.
Sadly , my trusty 5.8 inch Samsung Galaxy S8 phone uses Android 9 , and cannot be upgraded.
1 app has stopped working , and I am sure that others will follow suit.
So I was very relieved to find and purchase this Reconditioned Galaxy A41 , which is near identical in size.
It arrived in perfect condition , and the screen size is an ideal 6 inches.
It came with Android 10 but has upgraded itself since to Android 12.
So it should give me several years service before needing to be replaced.

Update 12 May
I used Samsung Smartswitch App to transfer everything from S8 to A41.
Worked flawlessly without any issues.
Battery life on A41 better than S8 , & it seems to perform fine in everyday use.
NOTICE TO DIABETICS reading this.
I use Abbott's Freestyle Libre 2 app & sensor to monitor my blood glucose.
When I started using the App on the Galaxy A41 , even though I logged into my Libre Account , my Glucose testing history was not transferred , so in effect , it starts all over again.
Apparently the data will still be on the old phone if I need to access it , but Abbott need to update their software so that one's Testing History is retained.
