For years I always checked our luggage before travelling by getting on the scales and picking up the suitcase, kind of worked but often couldn't see the number of awkward holding it steady. This device solved that! It just straps onto the handle and you pick it up, takes a couple of seconds to steady then gives you a reading, super simple.

We took three cases on holiday this summer and filled one bag right to the 10kg limit, was a bit nervous going to the airport to see if it was accurate, need not have worried as it was exactly accurate. Took it on holiday with us to make sure weight was ok on return after buying bits as it was very light and sturdy enough to be packed. Fantastic bit of kit!

Pros:
Compact design. Lightweight and very comfortable to hold, even with heavy luggage.
Easy to read scale can be viewed from above, but anyway the reading is held for one minute or can be reset at any time. I've checked its readings over the range: accuracy is very good.
The built-in webbing strap is well designed to quickly clip around any shape of luggage handle.
Battery compartment very accessible. Battery can be replaced quickly without a screwdriver.

Cons:
Can't think of any ! except that the scale reading could do with a second or two additional delay time to allow weight to settle. It's a bit over-enthusiastic to hold its reading, so I would recommend taking a few additional reset readings to fully confirm your luggage weight. Often the first one is indicated as too light. Make sure that there is no tension on the weighing strap when resetting though, or you will get a false reading.
You soon get used to its quirks. After all, it's going to save you a lot of money in overweight penalty fees.

Overall: Excellent value for money, easy to use and accurate. Wouldn't be without it. A MUST to take with you, to avoid overweight bags on the return trip.

I bought these scales last September I used them first time on beginning of may this year 2024 was fine going the button stays on and u have to try and make the zero disappear to save battery on way home it says err low battery so it's a pain as u need a small screwdriver to open it .so next time just a week ago it as flashing when u tried to weigh a case if you get small case was lower it was ok the min u try a big case it wouldn't take it as it kept going to 6kilo bi higher so absolutely rubbish was so disappointing

I have been using this product for the last 4 years until i misplaced it so i am ordering exactly the same one. I have weighed my own luggage and that of friends and families for at least 30 odd holidays between us all. Each time there is a competition who will get their luggage weight right at the check-in desks and guess who comes out winning? Yes you guessed it - me thanks to this device.

If you use this product correctly you will get your weights EXACTY right. Be sure to reset the scale to kg and ensure zeros are showing before strapping on your luggage. Make sure you're standing on a hard surface. Put the luggage on and lift, make sure your arm is staight and steady and nothing else is toucing you or the luggage. Once the scale beeps and locks onto the weight, that will be your go to weight.
