Setup issues
Phone arrived as scheduled and appeared in excellent condition. During setup received the message “This phone is not private” and that the app permissions and settings would be monitored by a Swedish company. Also the setup could only be continued using a Microsoft Work account. A factory reset was attempted several times but was returned to the the same setup screens. Phone is being returned. Even if it was possible to navigate around the setup issues there remained concerns regarding data protection.

I'm too old to care about a phone with too many bells and whistles, but this phone has lots of things that will make younger folk happy.
It's easy to use, even for me who knows little about phones and who cares less !
It has been scrutinized by much younger colleagues, and they have agreed its a good phone. A young colleague has just spent over £1,000 on his phone which I would be NEVER do !
My only slight gripe is that the phone is not green as described, but turquoise.
This of course doesn't affect the phone one iota, but it's not green.

The phone S10e prism black was delivered the next day which was a pleasant surprise. Very satisfying delivery.
The phone looked as good as new without any scratch or damage on the appearance. It came with a charge cable but without the charger unlike the description.
The battery life was 78% which does not meet the description of the product ("exceeds 80% capacity relative to new"). Other functions seem to work fine so far (4 days passed).

It's been almost a year and I can still say this works perfectly, if you want a phone that is modern and affordable while not wanting to pay too much for a newer phone then the renewed Samsung S10e is a perfect option, the only downside is the battery might not last as long as some phones but it still is good enough and after a couple of months it still takes the same amount of time for the battery to deplete from when I first bought it (there's an option for the phone to stop charging at 85% which is great for increasing the overall battery life span too)

I was dubious at buying a "renewed" phone.
The main reason that some comments indicate battery life may not be good, although indicates it should be 80% SOH.
The reason for buying it was as a backup incase my primary phone died. Both being an S10e.
I was impressed on how new it looked absolutely no blemishes.
Did a phone transfer using a cable, went seamlessly.
I have compared the battery to my existing phone, which is about 3-4 years old.
About the same which I'm happy with.
Overall the cost with the additional 20% discount for Black Friday was very reasonable.
Highly recommend.

This phone looks good. It is slightly smaller than my previous Galaxy A22, and I had issues using the Smart Switch as what should have taken five minutes turned into about two hours. The battery performance, however, is extremely poor. What forced my hand in sending this back is I had 14 percent battery left and called hubby and was only on the phone for less than a minute, when I saw the phone was now at 4 percent, then 2 percent about ten second later, then dead another ten seconds later. This makes this phone unreliable. it requires multiple charges per day, however I did like the wireless charging feature, as my previous phone was in with Samsung getting fixed due to charging port issues, and it's not even two years old and still in its contract. Overall, I think Samsung are making poor phones that are not designed to last.

On my previous phone, all of the volume and fingerprint scan buttons were on the right but this phone has them on the left, and an annoying 'bixby' button. However, I did like that it has an SD card slot, as most phones now do not.

I've returned as the battery performance is too low, and I don't do much gaming or watch videos much on it, so to not even last a full day on a charge has put me off, sadly.

Unlike some models of Samsung, such as the A series, the S series is pretty smooth. I've been charging my Samsung from my laptop, which has of course showed up as "Fast Charging" which is fantastic. Utilizing the Samsung Dex, is pretty much like transforming the phone into a Chromebook like design, unfortunately the downside is, some apps don't look as good via Dex, like Discord or the PlayStation App. By that as it may, I've gotten an entire day out of it, without the battery going completely flat.

The size of the phone literally makes my iPhone 12 Pro Max, look like a tablet rather than a phone.

The service you get with this phone, is simplistic, and overall serves a unique purpose for what I need it for. However, when I finally got the device, I did notice the back was peeling off, but with the help of a phone case, it's been keeping it well protected.
