no good with drilling lol… made a mess of putting the original mount up on a wall next to the door, so thought i’d try this! instructions so easy! litterally clean area, peel and stick, leave for a while to set and put the bell on and secure with the little screws! same place and fit as original mount. it now sits much better on the front door, had it up for months now in all crap weathers and hot weather and it’s still stuck on very firmly! highly recommend this for ease if just wanting it on the door or a frame.. if your thinking about it, do it, honestly so easy if your rubbish at diy like myself

I wanted an adhesive mount for my Ring doorbell. This provides the perfect solution and provides a solid mount to my UPVC door surround. This mount stick strong and provides a much better alternative to drilling my for surround. The only downside is the price, the price I paid for essentially a plastic mount with adhesive tape each side was excessive in my opinion. However it serves it purpose well! Would fully recommend if no cheaper alternatives are available.

I had a brand new composite porch installed so didn't want to screw-mount my Ring 4, as I had with the old door. First time round I followed the instructions but, annoyingly, found the doorbell lying on the floor when I came home from work the very next day. Rather than giving-up I ordered a new mount but this time I first cleaned the door frame with washing up liquid solution rather than white spirits like I'd done previously as somebody told me that white spirits can leave a residue which compromises the sticky tape's ability to stick properly. I also bought a couple of G-clamps to clamp the screw-less mount to the frame to make sure there was a lot of pressure applied to the mount while the adhesive on the tape cured. The mount felt a lot tighter than it did on my first attempt and, touch wood, it still feels strong and hasn't failed few weeks later.

We had a screw on mount for our Ring doorbell. Unfortunately, I attached It with some ghastly Chinese screws (apparently made of chocolate) and it was a disaster, so, I decided to try a stick on mount. Having removed the old mount (that didn't take much effort), I cleaned the area with alcohol (rubbing alcohol, not scotch :-). Then carefully stuck on the mount and let it adhere for a while before attaching the Ring camera. For several months, come rain and shine, it is still very firmly attached. It certainly is not cheap, but it does the job.

Bought this item so I could mount my new Ring Doorbell 3 plus to my new Upvc front door.
Cleaned the door with an alcohol wipe to remove any grease and then wiped clean.

Attached the mount and pressed in place for 5 minutes, then left to set for one hour. After the hour passed I found the mount had fallen to the floor, luckily the camera was not attached.

I could try other adhesive stripes, but then I could also buy a less expensive moumt

Item being returned as not fit for purpose.

Very happy with it! Only had it a month or two but it is still holding on. Exactly what I needed as I didn’t want to screw the ring door bell into my door or wall. I can see it lasting time. I know I have to charge it and it requires taking small screws out but really not a problem at all. I hate DIY this was a breeze!
