Good quality efficient hair straightener
I was looking at other products before deciding to buy this hair straightener from Remington, and have to say I am happy with my purchase. My hair has been bleached therefore I'm always trying to take extra care. There are ceramic hair straighteners (like this Remington) and titanium which are mostly used in salons. I always go for the ceramic ones as my hair tends to be straight ish, i have medium/fine hair. If you have coarse hair and want your hair super straight i recommend a titanium hair straightener, just be mindful because that one can actually damage/burn your hair, hence why it's used in salons by professionals. I wanted to get the Dyson one as all of my friends did, but I realized I don't need it. I have curl irons and everything i need. Not worth spending £500 on that, imo they all do the same thing > make your hair straight + another thing to consider is your technique to straighten your hair, it's not just the product itself. I owned Remington products in the past and I am happy with their quality.

These are great, very quick and easy to use and give a lovely finish as good as the expensive brands. I only use the lowest setting of 150 degrees as it's plenty hot enough for my fine hair. Would be better if you could lock in the temperature as I have to reset it every time I use them. You can actually lock it in but once you switch off at the wall socket the memory function disables. I don't like to leave mine permanently switched on as the straighteners stay a bit warm and I worry about the fire risk.

My Cloud Nine straighteners broke after 8.5 faithful years!
I couldn’t afford the cost for a new pair of Cloud Nine’s so chose these based on other reviews.
They are actually pretty decent. Good temperature control and heat up quickly.
Not been able to master curling with them but will keep trying.
I have noticed they do leave my hair quite shiny. Apparantly the plates are infused with argan oil.
They feel a little flimsy compared to my Cloud Nine’s but I think they do straighten just aswell.
For under £30 they are a bargain.

 well, i surrendered to this oh so popular straightener after reading the reviews, my kipozi ones started losing its power and i was in need of a great straightener for my frizzy, thick wavy hair that's almost turning curly, i tried this with a lot of nervousness, first on the low setting, it heats up really fast so do beware! , it straightened the first section of my hair but started going back to being frizzy again so i tried the highest temp and wow, it straightened out perfectly and lasted longer too........ it says its ideal for thick unruly hair, but i suggest getting a proper ghd for that as it's perfect for thin hair if you want to achieve the ultimate best results, overall its working really good but will definitely buy a ghd
