Good quality, if a little smaller than the expected size - I had to buy XXL, rather than XL for it to fit me. Very compact when folded and should be excellent for summer storms.

Very hard to buy the correct size

I cannot understand why manufacturers cannot make things to the same sizing standards.
I needed a Large (L) to replace my existing worn Large sized waterproof jacket.
I first ordered a Large. When it came in, it was more like a Medium (M). I sent that back for an Extra Large (XL), which when that came in, was not much bigger. I then had to order an Extra, Extra Large (XXL) which was finally a little larger than my existing Large (L) but more like what I needed.
But it took a lot of faffing about to get there.

See photo 1: The jacket is nice and waterproof/weatherproof, but please be aware there is no lining, not even mesh on the inside, so will feel a bit clammy on the skin if you don't wear something under it. But I'm ok with this.

See photo 2: My biggest gripe is the pockets. They are the most poorly designed I have ever experienced in a jacket/coat like this. They are absolutely useless. They are horizontal with a tiny flap that goes over, and unfortunately they separate, which means that any kind of rain, and whatever there's in the pockets will get wet, and not secure.

I am going to keep the jacket as I've been through enough trying to get the right size, but I will have to put velcro on the pockets to keep then shut and secure.

Got this for my husband as his old jacket was falling apart. I eventually decided on the 2xl (rather than the 3xl), there is plenty of room for several layers underneath, including a jumper. All in all he's a very happy bunny

I recently purchased this personally using my personal long held account .

Now the Jacket

I used it in the rain and it works. It is a good jacket for the money.
It rolled up okay to go in the boot of my car but not as small as the jacket in a bags types .

it does not come in a bag.

I like Peter Storm products because I have used them since I was about 6 years old and I am now 60 years old. The brand and the items have proved themselves over 54 years and I have never ever had anything free or discounted from them to say that.
