I’ve been using olaplex products at home for the last few weeks now and Iv seen a huge difference in the condition of my hair (my hair was over processed at the hairdressers around 8 weeks ago- it became very dry and I was loosing a ridiculous amount of hair daily!) over the last few weeks I have not had any hair loss what so ever while using these products- until today 👀 I’m unsure as to wether this item is authentic or not, after applying to towel dried hair (damp) I left the product in for 15 mins, as I rinsed my fingers were getting stuck in my hair (iv not had this issue while using the other olaplex products) once finished I of course cleaned up the bath and found a lot of my hair had come away, the plug hole was literally covered/clogged- I went on to brush my hair with a detangling brush and air dry- I had trouble with the getting the brush through - once dry I applied a heat proof oil and straightened my hair at a low heat (200)- my hair was snapping on the ends as it did prior to me starting the olaplex - I have since found out (after looking further in to the reviews of this product) that olaplex products come bar coded so that you can scan it to prove it’s authenticity… mine didn’t come bar coded … I have actually thrown the rest of this in the bin simply because I’m convinced it wasn’t a legit olaplex product. I have also had to cut around 3 inches off the bottom of my hair this evening due to the amount of hair that snapped during the process of using this… I’d be very cautious with this …unfortunately I found out too late to check for barcodes 🥺… I could be wrong and it may just be that the product isn’t suited for me but with the lack of barcode and the fact that my hair has been fine with the other products, I’m dubious, sad and have a little less hair nowPicture attached shows hair after use, as you can see my hair fell to the strap of my bra, it’s thinned excessively … I have had to cut to the black line shown .. my hair was snapped in places hence my reason for starting the use of olaplex but after this treatment it was much more noticeable and couldn’t be left like that …the original snapping was more so on my fringe and the top of my head not around the back/sides
