What a fantastic phone!
I had the S10+ and after reading reviews decided to upgrade to the Find X2 Pro instead of the S20 Plus, and I don't regret my decision.
The screen is incredible, I don't even notice the camera at the top and it's the perfect size for watching films. I think the most impressive thing is the refresh rate, very smooth.
You definitely get what you pay for. Next, the camera is fantastic, very clear and the best I've seen in low light/ night time.
Overall very happy with my purchase and can't recommend enough. 512GB storage, charges in 38mins but feels more like 15, and it came with a fitted screen protector and case in the box.
Will definitely be buying OPPO again in future!

Better than expected
First things first. When I placed the order I did not know that the Android 12 rollout would start in November. Apparently this has been confirmed by Oppo. This immediately made the phone more valuable.Second, and contrary to the GSMarena specification, the barometer works and gives exactly the same readings as my previous (Sony) phone.In order to get Android Auto running I had first of all when USB was plugged in to select "transfer files". It seems this is needed to get the correct interface for the car.Since I did this, Android Auto has worked properly. There is a minor known bug: you need to have always-on screen enabled. Use clock as screensaver. Otherwise the phone may kill the AA process.This is a big heavy phone, but not unacceptably so. I decided to buy it rather than the coming Sony 5 III partly because at the time it was cheaper than the predicted Sony price, and partly because of heating concerns with SD888 phones. The Oppo has not been getting hot at all and in a typical day is losing only about 20% of charge.One thing to note is that it will not charge on an old low power charger. It will charge on a 2.1A charger or better. I don't use the supplied 65W charger because I don't need fast charging and using it is likely to reduce the battery life, but according to Anandtech, if you do use it, it shuts off completely at 100% and does not leave the phone on trickle charge. It does not have wireless charge.The periscope camera does not have the highest resolution (the laws of optics forbid it) but is extremely useful because it can be used as a very effective magnifier and due to its close focussing ability can be used as a macro lens (see picture). The main camera is good and at moderate distances has a slightly higher resolving power than the periscope lens. All the back lenses seem to have stabilisation. I haven't tried the front camera.The back material is nothing like leather, it looks and feels like polyurethane (which should be very durable). I detest glass backs and this was a factor in buying this phone. The ceramic back version is slightly thinner but then you need a thicker case for safety, so it's a tradeoff.The UI is better than I expected and an easy change from the Sony. It has a lot of customisation and some things were unexpected - I had to enable auto-rotate, for instance. One excellent feature is that Facebook can be completely uninstalled, not merely disabled.The screen is very good and the sound through the earpiece very acceptable. There is no 3.5mm jack or SD card slot and this is the single SIM version.Overall I am very impressed with it and have no regrets about abandoning Sony, much as I like their products.

Update: October 5th
So again, the seller is great but the phone has disappointed me greatly. After just a month the phone has started to freeze up, my apps aren't working properly and speaker is horrible. I'm not sure what to even do now, as I've passed the 30 day mark. I spent alot on this phone so I truly devastated at the poor performance. Next time I'll just get a Samsung or an iPhone.
