I have been using this Neutrogena Deep Moisture cream for many many years. It's probably been 10 years at least and it's been an excellent moisturiser. It had a nice subtle scent to it, not overwhelming in any way, and the consistency of the cream and the moisturisation it used to give me was just perfect for my skin. It wasn't too greasy, and it was just about right.

When I ordered it this time and saw that they had written on the bottle that it is a "New Improved Formula", I dreaded that they may have ruined it. Well that is exactly what have done - they have ruined what was a perfect formula and are labelling it as New and Improved. Judging by the consistency of the cream this looks like a cost cutting exercise to me. The scent is fine and doesn't smell any different, but the consistency of the cream feels like it has been watered down, or thinned out at the very least. When you try and rub it into your skin it seems to run out a lot quicker and you end up putting more and more of it on.

It's still okay to use and I would have given it 3 stars if it wasn't for the current price of it, which is an absolute bargain at £3.50. Obviously I had something to compare it against and that is why I was left feeling disappointed, but if you have never used this before then give it a try whilst it's still at this ridiculously low price of £3.50 (at the time of submitting this review) as you might just like it.
