This phone is a nightmare - it is stuck on a blank screen with an arrow, clicking on which brings a "mobile services is not responding" error.Update : Motorola services gave instructions for a full factory reset and it's possible to use after that.

Absolutely brilliant phone!!! The battery can last for two days without getting charged(I played a two and a half hour movie the phone used a maximum of 20%, battery when you do need to charge the phone it has the fast charge option. You can use the phone to pay for things (android pay). The operating system is up-to-date, the fingerprint sensor is very fast , why would you want to pay £400-£500 for a phone when you can get this one for £150 ? Absolute bargain at that price . I would recommend a cover for the phone you can get one for about £4 or £5

Had phone a year now and super pleased. Battery lost very little in capacity and needs charge only overnight. Phone has only ever frozen once unlike previous Samsung. Bought for Christmas present for my partner, she is really happy with it, she moved from an Samsung S3, which was no longer getting updates so apps stopped being supported, such a shame as that phone was ace. But the Moto is good, she's getting used to the different interface which is more sock google like (a little different from the Samsung). Love that it still have a removable battery, a micro SD slot AND a headphone jack, high end phones have removed these, for under £100, its a steal, fantastic phone, quick, responsive and seems powerful enough for her. So far so good.

Whilst the battery is one of the best (2 days standby time with Bluetooth, WiFi scanning, mobile data, high accuracy location and full brightness on, in low reception areas), the performance is only marginally adequate. You won't find it fast switching between apps or browsing the web. Forget about playing graphically demanding games or taking nice pictures. The camera misses focusing most of the time and the details in photos are washed.
Biggest downside to it is it's horrible quality control. Although the build quality is superb, there are problems with the internals. My unit has a faulty vibrator motor, which only hums when in use, not actually vibrating. Also, when charging, there is a considerable lag with the keyboard, making writing impossible, as the phone doesn't register all input keys. Could be a software issue, a hard reset did not fix the problem, neither switching keyboards.
The presence of a fingerprint sensor is welcomed, as that works fine.

The phone has severe issues with wifi connections. After minutes or a few hours it will refuse to connect to wifi (and tried against multiple wifi access points). Seems to be a common problem if you google for Moto E4 Plus wifi problem. Only solution is to reboot the phone. Turning off wifi and back on again does not resolve the issue.
I have installed all latest android updates, and disabled Wifi scanning as suggested by some to fix the problem but the problem still happens and it makes the phone practically useless. Unless Moto support has some magic answer to this problem (unlikely) I will be returning it to Amazon as I have only just received it last week.
Also - for the few days that I have had the phone, the battery life does not seem all that great which was supposed to be one of its biggest selling points. So I will probably be returning this.

This phone has massively surpassed my expectations. I bought it as a backup while my Pixel phone was away for repairs and this is so good I've flogged the Pixel on Envirophone for £200 and kept this.

The battery life is clearly the headline of this phone, but I can't get over how good it is. My Pixel flakes out by 4pm every day. This is barely down to 80% by the same time. But it's not just that - this does everything my Pixel did, and just as well. True, the screen resolution is appreciably softer, but more than adequate. And the camera is fine for my needs - considering the Pixel camera was also such a disappointment.

Long story short, you can spend £600 on a phone that's a bit slimmer and pay for it over two years or you can pay little more than the premium phone deposit and have this all in, then pay a tenner a month on a SIM free deal. This phone is the centre of my smart-ish home exactly as my fancy Pixel was - it controls my heating, front door bell, music, TV, and has better Bluetooth connectivity with my car.

The fairly scant adaptation of Android is very nice. The Battery/Date/Time/Weather widget on the homescreen is lovely. First time it told me it was about to rain in 20 minutes I was sceptical. When it started to rain 20 minutes later I was sold. This is the kind of phone that makes you feel like a moron for ever paying premium money. Get one, and if anyone comments on why you have a budget device, tell them how much more practical this is and what you did with the spare £460+.

Bought as a Christmas gift and I'm happy with it. The overall construction is good and it's supplied with Android 7.1.1 (requires an update out of the box); you get a charger in the box & a microUSB cable, but that's all - no headphones are included.

My main motivation was the huge battery, although overall this is a large device with a large screen, which is fine for e.g. older users. The rose gold is a good look for it too. In use, it's Android as you know it, although the Motorola launcher is very similar to the "stock" Android on e.g. Nexus devices, with the swipe-left to go to your Google Now page & Google Assistant etc. - all of which is a good thing. In all, I'm very happy with it. My only grumble is that what looks like a hardware "home" button on the front is actually the fingerprint scanner and not a button at all; the actual home button is a capacitive button on the screen.

Me gusta mucho el móvil. Hay que hacerse cargo de que es bastante pesado y de dimensiones grandes. Entiendo también que si quieres una batería tan grande hay que esperarse que el móvil sea grande para poder albergarla. Una vez aceptadas las dimensiones y el peso, el móvil va muy bien. Es un gama básica pero es rápido, no se cuelga y la batería tan duradera dá mucha tranquilidad. Lo considero una compra muy buena.

Resistente e la batteria ragazzi dura veramente tanto, a volte più di un giorno.
Dipende ovviamente da quanto lo utilizzate, il mio vecchio galaxy S5 arrivava a fine serata con 20% di batteria mentre questo moto arriva con 70%-90%.
