These are lightweight bath towels, I gave them a 40C wash before use and a lot of colour came out into the colour catcher. Used one today after shower and is ok, but will keep these as spares and find some better ones for everyday use

These towels are pretty to look the colour is intense anthracite and there is a banding design on the end nothing fancy just a plain banding. However, they are not a bath sheet size at least not compared to my bath sheets which are original Egyptian cotton purchased in Cairo. They are extremely thin and not very absorbent at all. I am bitterly disappointed as when I buy Egyptian Cotton I anticipate a certain standard. They will be fine to put on the towel rack in the main bathroom as a display item to keep things colour-coordinated and tidy. Would not advocate use for my family as I am used to real Egyptian cotton ones in which a bath towel is even bigger than this bath sheet and a bath sheet is far bigger again. We live and learn.
