Only had my new Mercedes 2 weeks but although the music system is Bluetooth, it doesn’t have USB and SD card facility in the head unit or anywhere else in the car, even went to Mercedes before I knew about these transmitters and asked for a price for them to supply and fit new head unit, don’t even want to repeat it, totally obscene. 😫 so this unit under £20, happy days. Highly recommend. 👌

This bit of kit has saved my bacon! Bluetooth in car just died...gave up completely with no rhyme or reason. As I do a lot of commuting for work I really appreciate being able to listen to podcasts and (responsibly) make calls. Call it a first world problem buy I can't hack just having CDs or the radio to listen to haha.

My car doesn't have a 3.5mm jack so this works perfectly by plugging into the cigarette lighter and you tune your radio to a blank frequency which it uses to transmit your audio from your phone. A few teething issues when the supposed blank station started talking over my podcast but it only happened briefly so no complaints really.

The buttons are easy to use when not looking at the device and it was simple to set up. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for a decently priced Bluetooth connecting device for your car!

I must admit to not expecting a lot from these types of devices, but with a 2005 Toyota having only a cd player and am/fm radio I needed to upgrade my music options!
This was very easy to set up and get going. Initially I tried tuning it on empty frequencies at around 87.5 to 88.1 mhz ... but there was a constant and ungodly high pitch squeal that could be heard despite the music. My heart sank a dreams of playlists started to fade. But then decided to try the other end on the scale... so I found an empty frequency up around 107.something, and there is no squeal!! Nothing at all in terms of interference! So no happily driving to my playlists.
It plays quieter than my in car radio, but then so does my in car cd player! I can still crank the volume loud enough to make my ears bleed should I feel the need 😉
Only had it a couple of days, but happy so far (now that the squeal has been resolved!)

Wasn't sure it would work but I've had no issues, device pairs to my phone as soon as the ignition is turned on.
Signal is clear and strong, my only issues were the volume is a little low even on max but that's fixed by turning up phone or car volume, the other issue wasn't with the device but with my car, you need to tune to a blank FM radio channel which in my car was tricky as it kept trying to scan for a different channel, took me a minute to get it locked in, I've since saved the blank channel and I can switch to it quick, I'd recommend getting one.

I'm really glad I chose one of these based on reviews. This one seemed to have the highest reviews - especially at the (low) price range.

Works great. Loaded a bunch of music onto a 32gb mini card, popped it in, plugged into the cigarette lighter and saw that it was on 88.1 fm - turned on the car radio, dialed over to 88.1 - and my music was already on - clear as a bell.

This thing is small - much smaller than I expected and this is good as it is unobtrusive and doesn't get in the way. I put my phone cord charger into it and charged my phone while I was listening to music so that seems to work OK.

Changing from song to song is easy - the ONLY drawback I see is that you can't fast forward within the song, you can only jump from song to song and start at the beginning of the song.

I read in several reviews that static can be heard if you really turn it up or listen to something with a lot of dead sound space like an e-book. Here is what I found - if you have the volume low on the transmitter and turn your radio volume up high, you do hear static. If you turn the transmitter volume to maximum and put your car stereo volume to the 30-50% range, I couldn't hear any static at all. It seemed to be a sliding scale, the less transmitter volume and more car volume, the more static. With the transmitter on full and car stereo turned down, while listening to an acoustic guitar and singer, I couldn't hear ANY static - sounded as good as on my home stereo or Bluetooth headphones.

I'm VERY satisfied with this transmitter, it is well worth the price.
