In comparison to the Wave buds, these have a clearer more immersive sound in my opinion. I am hearing parts of music that i just couldnt detect with my other earbuds. The sound is really clear. Bass is really good as well, its not as distorted and rattly as the JBL wave buds. Dont get me wrong, the waves make my skull rattle with the bass but i found it hard to get on top of when messing with EQs and such. With these i daren't touch the EQ!! Also they dont shift around in my ears when i move about. They are nice and stable. Very happy with this item.

As said the sound quality is nice and both the software and hardware are good as well. Battery life is also better than some top brands competitors.

Tried the different ear adaptors/plugs but the earbuds seem to be more keen to experience gravity than to stay in my ear.

The noise cancelling function is undercut by the fact that the earbuds do not prevent wind from wooshing into one’s ears whilst moving fast.

I have had these for 2 weeks so am yet to be able to decide whether i love or hate them. I have had multiple JBL speakers before and have always rated them for bass music over Sony and definitely Beats. My really old bluetooth wired btw ears have been brilliant for the last 4 years.

I have struggled with the buds fitting, its probably me but the left one feels like its going to fall out - (it has twice) but i suspect its my method. As my ears are small I should have gone for the smaller Apple style ones. I will probably going to give them to my son and get the smaller ones.

In terms of sound, the tops are crystal clear. I am let down by the bass. To be fair I listen to Vision Radio and deep dark dirty bass. I feel like they are more top end, more like "Beats." The reason I have always chosen JBL over all other brands (on the mid end of price) is because their bass was exceptional. If you love house, pop, trance.. they are amazing.

Whilst I am going to stick with JBL and get better fitting ones for me, I disappointed by the bass. Equally there are so many varieties on their website - its so hard to choose which ones would work for me. They should simplify - if you like rock - choose... if you like pop - choose... if you like bass - choose...

Oh yes - battery life is amazing, connectivity is great. Touch activation for volume and skip or pause track is great. Phone calls are great outside in the wind.

Summary the style of these pods don't fit in my ears. (the other style will) The ease of use & connectivity is brilliant. The app actually works. I just need that dirty bass JBL delivers in its external speakers.

The sound quality is awful, wearing outdoors it creates a channel of noise so you can’t hear your music, the design also makes it impossible for them to go in and stay in your ears. Not just the worst earphones I have ever bought, but possibly the worst purchase I have ever made. Don’t buy these headphones.
