Customers like the appearance of the turntable, saying it looks fab and has a wooden body that adds a bit of class. However, some customers disagree on sound quality.
Customers are mixed about the sound quality of the turntable. Some mention it has good sound quality for the price, and is well worth it overall. The internal speakers are ok to get you started, and it has the outputs. However, some customers say the sound is not great and the volume can't be altered with the volume control on the product.

Great, compact record player. Exactly what I expected for the price, bought as a birthday present, child was very pleased. The sound is a bit tinny to my ears but kid didn't notice! You can plug in quality speakers if you want better sound. Would recommend. Well packaged.
For the price, this is a good starter deck to kick off a young person's interest in vinyl. Don't expect miracles, but, expect a fairly decent deck that's ready to go straight out of the box for an affordable price. You can attach external speakers at a later date to improve the sound quality as it has the outputs, but the internal speakers are ok to get you started. The deck is very compact, so sits nicely on the shelf, and the wooden body adds a bit of class in comparison to similar plastic decks. The dust cover is a nice touch to keeps things clean. Overall not bad at all.
Really good price for the quality of the player, the sound is amazing and it looks fab. The player was a birthday gift for my 14 year old daughter - she is obsessed by it and finds it so easy to use.

I recently bought this turntable on a whim while out shopping because I needed to replace my old turntable which died after 17 years of good service. The price was appealing as I don't need anything fancy or expensive, just a simple and reliable unit for those times when I feel like listening to the old vinyl collection. I also liked the wood look as it matches my cabinet on which it sits, and I thought the two built-in speakers were a nice bonus.
The unit is simplicity itself, just plug in and play. The position of the on/off switch at the back is a bit odd, but that's fine. The volume control works well and the built-in speakers are surprisingly loud and punchy for being so small. They are inevitably somewhat tinny and lacking in bottom end, but thankfully the RCA output feature enables you to hook up to an external speaker (cable not included). I hooked mine up to my Bose stereo soundwave CD/radio player, which has plenty of bass oomph. The built-in speakers remain engaged, so hey presto I now have four speakers for the turntable! Simply adjusting the volume levels on the turntable and the Bose allows me to dial in the perfect speaker mix for whatever record I'm listening to. The sound is fantastic! Very full and rich. So while the built-in speakers are OK on their own, I do recommend connecting to an external speaker or stereo system as I did to get the most out of this turntable.
Unlike some reviews which complain of an issue with the needle skipping a lot, I haven't experienced this at all so far. Maybe that was a teething problem with the early units which has since been rectified, or perhaps they were just duds that escaped the quality control checks. All I can say is that mine works very well and I'm so pleased with how it sounds in my setup that I'm enjoying an extended vinyl fest at the moment and soaking in that great quadrophonic sound.
We've tried a few different brands over the years and have been disappointed with the quality. But this one is definitely the best in the price bracket. Not amazing sound quality but better than many others and cheaper than the alternatives, so well worth it overall.
Bought this for my daughter's 15th birthday. It played half a song at half speed, one song at normal speed then gave up the ghost altogether. Utterly shameful piece of equipment. Would never buy from this company again.
