4.0 out of 5 stars Nice functionality and color

The Good: The shape and color of these match a lounge chair I have so they’re pretty subtle for the most part. The stackable units give me some flexibility in how tall I want the chair to be.

The bad: I feel like they could be cheaper for plastic squares.

The Ugly: I don’t understand why they made the floor protector black. The reason I got them is that the color blends so well with the chair leg but the black really sticks out. Why not keep the color consistent?

5.0 out of 5 stars Chair raisers

Did the job for our ill family member. He could get up and sit down with greater ease having the chair elevated a bit.

These furniture risers are perfect to give a little added height to chairs, couches and beds especially for when you reach a point in life that getting up and off these things becomes more difficult. These very sturdy furniture risers can raise your furniture to a more comfortable level and keep the furniture steady as well as they are non-slip. There are three pieces to each riser. A base which seems to be rubberized and slightly softer than the other two components. There is an L-shaped riser in that two sides are open and an all-sides closed riser. The risers fit into one another and into the base. Depending on how much height you need, you can use the base and one riser or the base and both risers. The inside of each of the top two risers is textured to ensure that the legs placed in them do not move or shift. The base adheres firmly to the floor so it will not slide around.

They can also be used for other items like refrigerators and shelving. They are heavy duty and can support up to 1300 pounds so you know even if your couch or chair is solid and you are in it, there’s no worry about whether or not it can take your weight… it can.

My guess is that these risers are being bought for two main reasons. The first reason would be to raise up furniture like chairs and beds to make getting out of them easier. The second reason is to raise furniture in order to create storage space under said furniture or to raise their surface (bureaus, desks, shelves) to a more comfortable height. Whatever your reason is for getting risers, they will “rise” to the occasion.

Each set is rectangular in shapes and comes with four bases, four L-shaped risers and four all-sides closed risers so one set is good for a piece of furniture with four legs. If your couch has six or eight legs, you’d need to buy two sets. They are an easy and inexpensive way to extend the use of your furniture when it becomes harder for you to use the furniture.

3.0 out of 5 stars Easy to assemble; rubber bottom protects floor from scratching

The positive points of these risers are:
1. They are very easy to assemble, and it can be done by hand without any tools.
2. The bottom has a rubber(-like?) layer that protects the floor from scratching and stops sliding/skidding.
3. It's a great idea and raising the bed does create space for storage.

The negative points (in my experience) are:
1. The set I received for review are rectangular; I wish they were square, as the single bed I am using them with has square legs.
2. The set I received for review is open on 2 sides (they call it "half edge"), not raised on all 4 sides around the perimeter of the top block. This has me fearful that the legs may slip off the riser if the bed is suddenly jarred (e.g., if the dog jumps on the bed or if a person throws him/herself down on the bed).
3. The listing says it can hold up to 1300 pounds, but these are hard plastic; I personally would not trust 1300 pounds to these. I have them on a single bed in the guestroom; I would not even try them on my own kingsize bed, which weighs a lot more. To be fair, that is just my impression; I have not tried it.
4. I am wondering if the black rubber bottom will transfer color to my hardwood floor over time. Again, I don't know that, but it is a concern.

Conclusion: Okay, I guess. Important to choose the shape and the edge (half or full) for maximum satisfaction.

4.0 out of 5 stars Decent furniture risers, appears well-constructed and sturdy, work as expected, longevity TBD

Vine Customer Review of Free Product( What's this? )
These appear to decent furniture (or whatever you wanna use 'em with of course) risers that appear well-constructed without visible defects and work as expected without issues (so far). The build quality seems decent although they are entirely plastic where the 2x brown stackable blocks are made of hard plastic and the thinner black block is made of soft rubber (TPU rubber, incorrectly stated as TUP) to increase friction/grip to the floor while preventing or minimizing damages as well (well, that's my guess anyway).

The 2 brown blocks can be stacked together to increase the overall height or used individually with the softer rubber block (with precut groove, pic 10). Keep in mind that the lower brown block has all 4 edges/sides and it cannot be attached to the TOP of another brown block since it just won't fit. As such, if you require the full height, the block with all 4 edges must be at the bottom and this of course reduces the safety a little in my mind.

I have no idea how long these will last they appear to be holding just fine for the time being. While it claims to be able to hold up to 590 kg/1300 lb, I do have doubts as these claims are often exaggerated by as much as 50%. With that being said, as long as whatever they are holding remains stationary (i.e. probably not beds), they should work just fine.

≡ Value
All things considered, these are decent furniture risers that appear well-constructed for the most part and they work as expected without issues; however, their longevity remains to be seen since they are entirely made of plastic. They are somewhat reasonably priced at $30 for what they provide and their overall build quality, usability, and performance.
