I purchased the 26” as I did not want overhang, but would probably buy the correct fitting for extra sturdiness if really thought about it, this is advised. Once my ankle has healed I will be using the seat to sit and shave my legs in the shower :o)

This piece of inexpensive equipment has been an absolute boon to us. On returning home after a lengthy stay in hospital my husband was very weak. He found it difficult to get in and out of a bath, and showering was not an option as he couldn't stand for long periods. I thought I'd try a bath board so he could sit and shower and it's worked fantastically well for him. I ordered the handle as added assistance and he's found it beneficial. Both the board and the handle arrived very quickly, were easy to fit and very stable once in place. It's worth noting that the board comes in different widths and the best result will be achieved by ordering the exact width of the bath at it's strongest most flat point.

Ho comprato già da qualche settimana questo asse/sedile e ne sono proprio soddisfatto. L'ho preso in virtù del fatto che in bagno non ho una doccia ma solo una vasca da bagno e mio padre che ha qualche piccola difficoltà nei movimenti, non trovava agevole lavarsi. Ho fatto quindi una ricerca ed ho studiato la cosa, scegliendo tale asse e preferendolo alle innumerevoli sedie da vasca che sono sul mercato. Ritengo di aver fatto una ottima scelta per questi motivi:
- il prodotto è molto solido, ben fatto e ben rifinito. Nella parta inferiore ha due fermi che scorrono per alcuni centimetri, con della gomma posta sul lato esterno, gomma che sembra essere di grande qualità. Questi fermi devono ad essere regolati per andare contro la parete interna della stessa vasca, per bloccare l'asse e non farlo scivolare. Semplice e funzionale.
-si adatta a tutte le vasche (anche se si trova in varie lunghezze, io ho misurato la mia vasca prima di comprarla).
Inoltre avendo un piano di seduta all'altezza del bordo vasca l'ingresso nella stessa è senza dubbio più agevole, infatti bisogna sedersi e girandosi, alzare una gamba alla volta per portarla all'interno della vasca. Nulla di difficile per chi ha buona mobilità ma per una persona che ha difficoltà entrare in vasca può essere un problema oltre che esporsi a possibili cadute. Presumo che le varie sedie da vasca non siano così comode per entrarvi.
Infine il prezzo: IMBATTIBILE ! l'ho pagata meno di 29 € compresa la spedizione Prime.
Quindi la consiglio senza remore.

Ottimo articolo, leggero ma allo stesso tempo robusto. Si adatta alla vasca da bagno perfettamente ma consiglio sempre misurare prima dell'acquisto. Ha dei tamponcini antiscivolo sui bordi che toccano la vasca che lo tengono ben fermo in modo da non scivolare sul bordo vasca anche se bagnato. Con le staffe regolabili aderisce alle pareti e tiene salda la sua posizione. Facilissimo da rimuovere per pulirlo e per pulire la vasca. Adatto a persone con mobilità limitata , basta sedersi sulla tavola e sollevare i piedi uno per volta ed inserirli nella vasca in ingresso e viceversa in uscita. Consigliato l'utilizzo ( in caso di persone con disabilità grave ) con l'ausilio di un altra persona che può aiutare con sicurezza nei movimenti altrimenti si può far installare un maniglione di appoggio dove aggrapparsi in sicurezza. Veramente un buon prodotto che mi ha evitato costosissime spese per il rifacimento del bagno per poter far la doccia ad una persona anziana.
