Obviously, when you're looking for the lowest price there's the concern you'll be ripped off. In this instance the packaging was high quality, well sealed and the blades look and feel legit.
I went with the 16 Pack at £45ish, a little over £2.80 each. Not cheap but certainly not £6 per blade at a supermarket (£24 for 4! at the time I wrote this).
The Labs handle and blade was an emergency buy when I was away from home and it's surprisingly good. Good enough for me to buy new blades and abandon my old Fusion handle.
Wash out the stubble (which is easier with these Labs blades), remove excess water and store them dry and they last quite a while.
The shave itself, despite not having vibration of the Fusion is effortless on a new blade and they don't dull too quickly (depending on your stubble thickness and tolerance).
My overall opinion is that if you want a convenient shave that is close to a straight edge or safety razor without all the upkeep, ceromony and inital practice, and don't mind shopping around and still paying a slight premium, you can do worse than Gillette Labs.

Quality blades, quality shave
These arrived in a black and lime green branded box with the replacement blades sitting in a card insert inside. These come in four sets of four fitted into their plastic dispensing trays.I already used a Gillette labs razor so am familiar with this product. The blades are easy to change, and with the exfoliating bar these certainly give a nice clean shave. I find the blades last really well, holding a sharp edge that does not pull or tug even over multiple shaves. I also shave my head with these, and the swivel head on the razor compliments these perfectly, giving the ability to get into the most awkward areas easily.Overall this gives a nice clean and smooth shave, I found the blade easy enough to manipulate, and the exfoliating bar does its job well. There are many items I will go for a cheaper version of and not notice the difference, with razors in my experience this is not the case, and it is better to pay for quality, and these are quality razors. I can’t fault this product so have given top marks.
