Having recently started down my non-toxic, natural lifestyle, it seemed an obvious choice to start with a nice all rounder like castor oil.

I have done a lot of research into castor oil and how to use it.

Some people hate it and I can say it took a few uses to get used to it.

It is thick and sticky, and it has a unique nutty smell that I imagine some people wouldn’t be so keen on.

However a little goes a long way, and can be mixed with other oils if you find it to be too thick or sticky.

I won’t go into details of what it can be used for as it is so universal, but my facial skin looks so much better than it did a month ago, and I still have the majority of the bottle left!

There is currently a big hype to use the castor oil for almost everything. I am 44 now but I remember as a teenager using this on my lashes.
It is a sticky and thick oil so it feels a little annoying to apply it on its own anywhere but so far I have mixed it into one natural cream and it made it into a miracle power cream! I also use it with the peppermint oil to massage my feet for super smooth soft feet.
I appreciate it comes in a dark glass. It is a good quality oil. I had a few castor oils over the years and happy with this one.
I don’t really like the stickiness, thickness and especially I don’t like the weird smell but I am loving the effects on the skin so mixing it with whatever I have around (patchouli, sandalwood, orange, peppermint). It makes the experience of using it a little better.
