I buy the standard Fixodent for my Mum, as she finds it performs better than other leading brands. In other words, it keeps her dentures in place for longer. After a bad fall she ended up in hospital and was anxious her fellow patients would know she wore dentures. In a hurry I ordered this version of Fixodent instead of the standard one. Is it worth the extra money? Well, according to Mum it holds her dentures in place for longer and her mouth feels fresher - as the old Fixodent left a bit of an unpleasant taste in the mouth. The precision nozzle is a bit of a pain for her arthritic hands, but I suppose this can’t be helped. More than anything it gave her dignity during her hospital stay, although her fellow patients were happy to display their dentures in a glass by their bedside!

Good adhesion that lasts all day, so no complaints with the product itself. Only gripe is that the narrow ended tube gets blocked so have to squeeze hard to dislodge the blockage and discard the hardened adhesive each day. New to dentures so will try poligrip next time as that appears to have a wider-ended tube.

The 1st time I used this I clearly did not put enough on, I had a drink and something to eat I can't remember what but the bottom one came loose I was disappointed. So the next day I put more on and it was great held all day long I even had a sandwich from Greg's the long ones that are crusty and it help amazing I could bite into the sandwich and break it off with no problem at all. I have only had my dentures for around a month and it is the 1st time I have been able to eat properly. Highly recommend this stuff.

Yes, you get some if it stuck on your tongue and the sides of your mouth but just wipe it off and you are good to go. I put mine in around 8 am and at 22.00 pm I had to use hot water to swill around my mouth to loosen the teeth. I call that a really good day, did not have to worry about them at all and felt very secure.

I use Fixodent regularly (the normal one is the best denture fixer I have found after trying all the rest), but, in recent months, my dentures become loose within 6hrs - so I thought I would try this new one, Fixodent Pro, it costs a lot more than the regular one but, unfortunately, I found it didn't last longer & my dentures still became loose after 6hrs - looks like I will have to apply Fixodent more than ONCE PER DAY!!!!
