Bought for my 87 year old mother with slight memory loss so she can WhatsApp video the grandchildren and see what conversations she has had on text and WhatsApp.
She hadn't used a smart phone before so took a bit of a risk but she's managing to use it.
The features are clear, a simple few buttons and a few screens. The sound is possibly a little muffled at times but if you're looking for a smart phone for a senior person, I would give this a go.
I set phone up for my mum rather than confuse her further.

The screen is laid out so that he only needs to press an icon to get to where he wants, e.g. messages, contacts, etc. It is the first "smart"phone he has had and the transition has been less difficult than I thought it might be. Lo smartphone non solo appare elegante e dal design tutt'altro che sottovalutato, ma sembra soddisfare ottimamente anche i canoni di resistenza e robustezza. La facilità di utilizzo e la fascia di età avanzata cui sembra essere indirizzato non fa passare in secondo piano la ricerca di un dispositivo elegante e sofisticato.

Il menù intuitivo, il display luminoso arricchito dalla possibilità di regolare la grandezza delle icone e delle scritte ne permette un utilizzo agevole anche da parte di chi ha problemi di vista.
Anche l'audio è studiato per offrire una qualità del suono forte e chiara e per essere compatibile con gli apparecchi acustici (auricolari inclusi).
Buona la batteria che fornisce un'autonomia superiore rispetto a molti competitor.

Tra le altre caratteristiche degne di nota ci sono una buona fotocamera da 13MP oltre una frontale e un pulsante di emergenza posteriore con geolocalizzazione (permette di conoscere la posizione dell'utente a distanza).
La memoria da 16 giga permette di scaricare ulteriori applicazioni.

Le precedenti caratteristiche oltre la presenza di applicazioni DORO (molto utile anche la possibilità di controllare il telefono da remoto) rendono il telefono adatto anche a persone anziane.
