The listing was somewhat confusing as the description states some colours are bamboo/cotton and other colours polyester. I ordered grey which should be bamboo/ cotton but there are no labels on the product to confirm this.Its listed as a chemo sleep cap but unfortunately it doesn't stay on. This may be unique to me but it seems the elasticity is too weak. Also there are seams inside which is no problem for me but might be uncomfortable for someone with very sensitive scalp after treatment. Hence the 3* rating.

I brought this to keep my hair safe from the nightly layering of face cream that I put on. I find I fall asleep on my side (getting face cream all over my pillow) then roll onto my back once I'm asleep (therefore getting the cream on my pillow in my hair) so I was looking for something to protect my hair from needing washing every morning as the frequent washing is stripping my hair. It was swiftly delivered, beautifully packaged, the material is fabulous, feels lovely on and it's been well made. It is just way too big to wear in bed overnight, it just comes off the second I move even slightly. so it most definitely looses stars for that. I can however wear it whilst I'm giving my skin a pamper to keep my hair out of things, and for this it's perfect and a lot more comfortable than those headbands (which I find are either too loose or make my ears hurt). So it has ended up with a practical use I wasn't expecting and I've restored a star for that. If you have a head on the smaller side of average and want to wear this in bed then I would warn that you may well find it doesn't stay put.

It's nice and soft and doesn't seem to slide around on my head too much. It isn't very pretty or anything to write home about but does exactly what it's meant to do. With chemo, the scalp is very tender and sore but found that these hats don't irritate like others do. By buying the 3 for £20 it was definitely worth it. I got the Caroline Blue, the Black and the White and all look as they do on the screen (colour wise). There is a lot of room on these on the top, if that makes sense, so no matter how big or small your head, it will fit (obviously the smaller your head the "baggier" at the back it will be but this just makes it look like it's meant to be that way
