I'll be honest, I never expected that I would buy Crocs. However, as I am barefoot in the house, I need something to slip on at the front door if I have to go outside. The flip flops that I used to use had flopped their last flip, and I decided that I wanted something a little more substantial. These came up on a search, and I liked the look of them.

The sizing is perfect, with plenty of room for my toes. I am on the border of size 12/13, and wondered if they would be big enough. The fit is good with and without the strap round my ankle. I shall probably not use the strap unless I'm going to be outside for a while.

As I wrote above, I'm barefoot in the house. Since retiring, it can be weeks between wearing shoes, so comfort is very important. What I like about these is that they are so light, and so roomy, I almost forgot I'd got them on. They are very comfortable.

The quality is very good. I've seen "knock-off" Crocs, and they usually look cheap and nasty. That can't be said for these.

If they prove substantial enough, I shall buy another pair to keep at the garden door for gardening. I am not certain whether this type will be suitable, but they have converted me to Crocs, so I'll be looking at others.

I've been so impressed with my first pair, I have bought a second pair as mentioned above.
