The product itself is as you'd expect - its a like a double-ended cotton ear-bud on a plastic stick.I opened a few - and all had sufficient alcohol in the bud to get oily residue cleaned away, none had dried out.It is easy to tear off 2 or 3 strips of these to take for a day out.Sadly - Buying these you resign yourself to the fact there will be plastic waste; just after plastic ear cleaning buds were banned from sale in the UK !Do search Amazon and check the price as the market is very competetitive; there are others selling 100 at £5.29, closer to 5p each on Oct 29th, 2o23, while the price at launch for this seller is £8.99.Lets hope we soon get biodegradable alternatives soon - but for now these work well and get the job done.

I usually purchase dry cleaning swabs and use IPA as the solution to clean electrical items and mechanisms. These are pre-wetted, with 2 cotton tips at each end supplied individually in sealed packages. This is great if you need something quick, just rip open one end and use that bud. The cleaning ability is good, but you will need to wipe away the residue due to the solution being half water and half alcohol. The sticks are plastic rather than cardboard or wood. Will I get these again? No. I will get more environmentally buds and use 99% alcohol - this evaporates completely leaving no residue or drying needed. On the whole for emergency cleaning or a tool bag, they will be OK.
