4)rubber sole - I find leather soles can be heavy and less grippy, and as I walk to work best for all weather conditions.

my part time work can involve a lot of sitting on my behind, so they don’t get lot of action. Being a larger footed gentleman always working out whether I’m a 12 or 13 dependent on brand or style i was happy with my purchase… I seemed to fit into these size 12 nicely.

Now the slight downside…. I’m at an age and size whereby I am not agile or quiet or particularly quick, but I don’t want to be heard before I enter a room.

Should I ever be asked to do some stealth under cover work for the secret service which involves me creepying up on people …..they would be useless. The shoes (particularly the right foot one) make an announcement of my arrival before I even enter a room. Some sort of creaking noise. It’s the sort of noise I’ve always associated with… cheap shoes…. Or highly worn aka the sole is damaged. Well these started damming that noise from day 1.
I had thrown out my other work shoes and had no choice but to carry on wearing as I needed to go work and shoes are apparently necessary and when you work in an office.

Any how the noise is not terrible but does annoy me. Here’s hoping that if I do get called up to support mr bond the pay is higher than £10 per hour and i get a higher quality shoe.

On my feet for ten/twelve hours a day.. These are very comfortable. Sizing is very large.. Had to go down a size.. Sole is foam and doesn't last that long unfortunately and don't think it can be resoled.Uppers have lasted and still look good.. For the price I would recommend.

Le Clarks sono scarpe note, un classico. Questo modello è bello come altri, pelle premium robusta, opaca e non volgarmente lucida, pertanto non stona in alcuna occasione, dall'uscita al lavoro all'occasione formale. Robuste tanto nella suola che nella tomaia. Per un prezzo assolutamente competitivo (circa 60€, le ho pagate 40 d'occasione). Calzano perfette, pianta larga e la punta non stringe, il tallone non morde. La pelle è già abbastanza soffice dentro. Sono leggere e solide. Ho altre 3 o 4 paia simili ma tutte scomode e instabili al confronto di queste, e mi hanno fatto male per i primi 5000 passi, per la rigidità del tallone e la compressione della punta. Queste no.

La vera forza di queste scarpe rispetto alle tante equivalenti per estetica e qualità del pellame sta nelle ulteriori tecnologie di comfort e grip di cui sono dotate, che le rendono comodissime e sicure, ed uniche nel loro genere:
- Suola EVA leggera e ammortizzante, antiscivolo, con un sistema che agevola la trazione nel passo.
- Soletta interna Ortholite® che le rende morbidissime e ammortizzanti, ed un simile materiale fodera la tomaia.
- cuscinetto plantare sotto il tallone e il palmo che ammortizza nei punti di appoggio massimo del peso.

In definitiva, valgono il loro prezzo e possono essere usate tutti i giorni per ore, non solo per brevi occasioni.
