Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings, help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.

I bought this set to replace a 3/8"-to-1/4" adaptor that sheared off when I was taking a drum out of a rusted washing machine. The supplied bits seem to be decent quality chrome vanadium. They come on a tight-fitting cheap plastic hanger which can be used to hang on a storage rail. The replacement 3/8"-to-1/4" bit survived the job that destroyed the other one, which gives me confidence in the quality of materials. There's bit of play from wrench to adaptor to bit, which is multiplied if you use two adaptors, say, to go from 1/2" to 1/4". But use these sensibly, and they seem to be a decent buy.
Bought two sets of these, originally wanted one for my son. Decided to have a set for myself as well. I can then “mix and match” between my 1/4 inch and 3/8 ratchets. Most of my kit is 1/4 size and I have one set of 3/8. Normally I don’t need anything as big as 1/2 inch drive, but may now get myself a ratchet handle as I have the adapter. Not used these for any jobs yet. As an experiment, I tried my 1/4 inch Bahco ratchet with the 1/4 inch adapter and a 3/8 deep Halfords socket. Worked fine, but slightly more “play” than I was expecting - more like a “wobble bar”. Will try this configuration out at work sometime and see how these parts perform on the shop floor. Lifetime guaranteed which is always a bonus. * Interesting comment from a workmate, that “Blue Spot” are made by “Snap on”. Wonder how true this is ?
I wanted these as like most people you only get one of each size ratchets a ¼" a ⅜" and a ½" so when you need to use two scockets at the same time what can you do? With a set of these you can use any size scocket on any size ratchet which saves you buying an extra set of ratchets so as well as saving you room in your tool box you save the money in your pocket.
Bought to make other sockets more flexible. So you can go from one size ratchet to a size bigger or smaller in socket. seems to work ok but not used in a repair yet.
