Best purchase I have made in a very long time
Bought the analogue turntable. I was slightly confused by the setup instructions included in the manual provided. Once I looked up a video on YouTube, I was able to quickly set it up and get it plugged in to my hifi.Worked absolutely brilliantly! I was thoroughly impressed by the quality. It is very simple to control, with a very sturdy plastic protective cover. I would recommend this to anyone in need of a new turntable.

I got back into my old Vinyl collection (and collecting some of the greats that I got on CD once the 90's swung around) with a cheapy portable player a few years ago. It's been great but didn't sound that great (can't complain when it was fifty quid).

I decided to take the plunge and get a better dedicated player but, not being an audiophile, didn't want to go too high on price.

I looked around at reviews and this came out well in terms of quality, sound and features alongside a very reasonable price so I took the plunge.

Set-up was very easy, just installing the disk, attaching the belt and taking off the stylus cover to get started. You can plug it directly into your amp via a wired connection but it also has bluetooth capability which allows wireless play. Bluetooth set-up was very easy to my Echo, I put that into seek mode via the Alexa app and then pressed the button on the turntable and it all worked like a charm.

I did hit one snag in that the stylus was broken (the needle was broken) so it was sliding over my records. I got in touch with support who helped me sort a replacement. That arrived and it now works perfectly.

Very happy with this, it sounds good, is very easy to use (fully automatic arm controls) and looks really tidy. Great turntable for the price.

The only criticism I would have are the buttons have a cheap feel when you push them but in time who knows there may be an upgrade.

For a first good quality and affordable turntable this definitely hits the mark.

In conclusion, I was really not sure whether to shell out all this money but I’m delighted I did.

I bought the Audio-technica LP60X as part of an upgrade from my ‘suitcase’ record player and I was not disappointed.
The product arrived well packaged and before the expected arrival date. It does require some small amount of assembly but this is covered by an easy to follow ‘quick start’ instruction leaflet and is not difficult.
The operation buttons are well labelled and easy to understand. The functions can be viewed from above which saves crouching down to read them.

The metal turntable is big enough to provide proper support for LPs/12inch singles and is good quality. A felt mat is also provided to sit on top of the turntable.

The unit does NOT have built in speakers. There is a 3.5mm socket at the rear and a 3.5mm to RCA plug lead provided to connect to powered speakers of your choice. External PC speakers can be used but I prefer to use a small set of studio monitors. The quality of the sound is somewhat dependant on the quality of the speakers used.

The playing arm tracking weight is pre-set and the overall tracking is really good. Automatic and manual queuing modes are provided.

No Bluetooth or USB port is included on the LP60X although I believe that there is a slightly more expensive model that has USB.

In conclusion I think the LP60X is good value for money and is an excellent choice if you’re looking for a turntable to bring your vinyl record collection back to life without breaking the bank.

Wanting to reconnect to my childhood and enjoy the hiss and crackle of vinyl records i bought a "cheaper" music box type thing. Big mistake!! i should have saved my money and just bought this straight away.. the sound quality is amazing connected through a sound bar and fairly good when listening through BT headphones. Does require some small assembly with the platter but is easy enough to do and there are plenty of video guides out there showing how to do it.

Bluetooth easy to connect and set up initially and once done doesnt need doing again (unless you change bluetooth device)

Would highly recommend initially paying the extra for this turntable and saving in the long run instead of buying a cheaper alternative. Your ears and vinyl will thank you in the longrun

Before this one, I had a crosley record player. I did not trust it to play some of my cherished vinyls. I bought this one as an upgrade and gift to myself.
The first unit that arrived had arrived with a broken stylus, but was a setback to me for how excited I was to start playing some of my records. As soon as I contacted customer service, a new unit was sent my way and got to me the day after the next. The product works immaculately, sounds incredible, and adds to the listening experience something digital recordings can't quite give.

I'm very pleased with this. Super easy to use, good quality, and I'm loving the BT feature. Put on a record, take my stereo to the other room, enjoy the sound!

I did had a weird thing happen once though. Upon pressing start, the needle slid off the vinyl and started scraping the side of it. I have no idea why this happened as the LP was flat, and the surface was level. Maybe I should start believing when they say that our house is hounted.
