Delayed in post on return/refund so overall had it to use for less than half of the five weeks I owned it. Supplier was shameless about delays etc. No consideration of inconvenience or genuine apology.

My only tiny gripe is the battery health. I have removed one star as whilst it is above the promised 80%, it came in at 83%. This means I might need to consider a new battery sooner than anticipated.

Unlike the rest of my family. I am definitely lagging behind with smartphones. After much nagging from everybody I decided to purchase my first iPhone but they were ridiculously expensive so I decided to try a refurbished one. The first one that I had was the iPhone SE but there was a problem with that so it had to go back. I also realised that the phone was actually too small and I didn’t really think that I was getting all the benefits that I would with an iPhone. Therefore I paid a bit more and got this one and I am so glad I did.

The phone was in excellent condition with no marks or scratches. It came boxed p, but not in the original iPhone box and it had a charger which was not a genuine Apple one but there’s not been any problems using it. I have had an iPad for a number of years, so I found the interface easy to work with. I love the fact that my photos, emails etc are shared between the two as it makes life so much easier.

I think that iPhones, whether they are refurbished or new, are ridiculously overpriced so I am gong have to take a star off for that, but, apart from that, I have been very impressed by this iPhone and if money is an issue I think buying refurbished is definitely the way to go. My bad experience did not put me off and I am very glad it did not, as this one is really good,

IT IS FAULTY
The phone turns itself off when it wants, mid phone call, mid zoom or in your pocket- then you realise you’ve missed important calls.
I didn’t return immediately as I was moving house & needed my phone. I told them it didn’t work & returned it for repair. Annoying, but i stay calm.
After 2 weeks it came back and didn’t seem to be charging properly, within a hour I was getting annoyed, it within 10 mins it had turned itself off several times.
It wouldn’t automatically download my apps from icloud so i painstakingly put them back- eg banks, so went all thru verification- it took me hours.
That was 24 hours ago, it’s worse than ever. It charges to 14% overnight. Now I’m annoyed.
I asked seller for help, they replied with the same msg I got 2 wks ago, take everything off, erase, send it back. I do not want to send it back and wait for it to be repaired. I want a refund or a different phone that works. £260. Now I’m annoyed, gutted, skint, phoneless and furious.
AVOID The amount of time it’s taken me to try and get it fixed is crazy.
