Bought this for my wife's birthday. She has had several branded fitness trackers that just don't last, so when her last one died, just before her birthday, I decided to get her this.

Right out of the box it looked and felt like a completely different class to her previous smartwatch/trackers. It looks and feels like the high-quality product you'd expect from Apple. It was very simple to set up and sync with her iPhone. The app is easy to navigate and use, all the stats she needs are there and easy to access. It's the first time I've seen her completely happy with a fitness tracker (yes, we know it's capable of so much more, but this is what's most important to her). I'm sure she's only just scratched the surface of what it can do, but what it does she's very impressed with. The only negative she's mentioned is the short battery life, it needs charging almost every day. But then, given how much it does compared to other smartwatches and trackers, it shouldn't be a surprise.

For years I’d avoided an Apple Watch, I could never see the point. Bought an SE and finally saw the light and found the features so good I couldn’t live without it… battery life was poor though. I thought I’d give the series 9 a go and I wasn’t expecting much of a difference but it feels so much more premium!
From the charging cable to the weight of the watch, I definitely do not regret the upgrade. The added ECG and oxygen saturation is a nice stat too.
Battery life seems improved but still needs a daily charge, doesn’t feel like it takes as long as the battery doesn’t drain as much in between chargers.
Overall I’m really impressed, no complaints, the integration with my iPhone is just sooooo easy. Thumbs up from me 👍

I recently converted back to Apple after using Android for years and years. I needed to switch over to the Apple ecosystem so replaced my garmin watch and it is SO much nicer. The UI is slick and it displays all my notifications conveniently without having to check my phone. My only gripe with the watch is the battery life. At a push I can get 2 days without having to charge it again, whereas my garmin watch I was able to last just over a week before it needed to be plugged in. I guess it's because the amount of times the watch turns on due to notifications and the amount more you can do with the phone. Other than that, I am very happy with my purchase.

I'm not the fanboy type and don't buy products based on brand names, yet somehow I have ended up with an Apple Watch 9, an iPhone and AirPods. This is just because they are all exceptional pieces of kit which work flawlessly together in that typical Apple way.

The watch is light and comfortable to wear. I haven't worn a watch for years but the sports band is softer than I expected so I soon forgot I was wearing the Apple watch. I also like the Starlight colour of the strap, which matches the casing. You can customise the watch's face colours to suit your style and can also select analogue or digital time and quick access icons to the functions you use most.

The design is elegant and the watch is easy to use despite having a small screen. It has given me tonnes of useful health information I never knew I wanted or needed, but I'm genuinely surprised at how much of an impact that has had on my life.

The only negative I have found with the Apple Watch 9 is that it ideally needs to be charged daily. That's fine given its capabilities and constant use, but despite this being a premium product, Apple no longer includes a charging adapter. This is apparently to reduce waste 'for the benefit of the planet'. In my opinion, this is nonsense because a charger is necessary to use the product, and by not including them in the box, Apple is making unnecessary additional shipments of standalone charging products, in extra packaging that wouldn't otherwise be needed. They do include a 'wireless' Magsafe charging pad (with a wire on it!) that needs to plug into a USB-C charger - ideally the Apple 20W one unless you don't mind waiting longer for it to charge.

I decided it was time for an upgrade from my very faithful series 4 to the mighty series 9 & like so many reviews that I have read, it certainly is noticeably faster.

As with every Apple product, you truly get what you pay for; ease of use, bright display, fast speeds & a fab fitness tool (as well as a stylish looking watch).

This watch is a must have if you’re looking to put your health (and now well being) first. The sheer amount of workouts you can now do on here and that it’s able to track is amazing! You can now log your mental health on the watch too which I I think is a lovely new feature alongside it’s multitude of stately features such as; fall & crash detection.

I also now love that it’s a carbon neutral product, so no more guilt in how this is been created and how it’s impacting the environment.

If I’m honest, if you are thinking about what size to opt for, I would say spend a little more and go for the 45mm as the watch truly shines on a bigger screen. The graphics, watch faces and workout metrics just look stunning and let’s face it. We only live once, so treat yourself!

Overall, I’m very happy with this product. Have never been let down by Apple & on this occasion they have really done a fab job upgrading their watches!
