It does feel stiff to move around but that is perfect to get it to the angle that you need and know that the phone will stay safe and well positioned. I am typing this hands held with the stand which is so light and have great control to type.
I have a iphone 12 pro and it fits perfectly but i can’t see why it cannot fit a bigger phone.
Simple but makes my workspace look good!

You just need to choose the angle you are comfortable with and start using.

BUT! I use iPhone 12 Pro Max, it’s too heavy to hold this phone. Maybe built for a lighter phones.
It’s unsteady, and can’t tilt it. It becomes unsteady easily and falls. I think because the base is very light.

If you have a lighter phone, it might be more stable

This is the second Amazon Stand that I have purchased. They are just terrific!

Stable, smart looking, infinite number of positions, it is an excellent stand to keep your phone in an easy position to view. I use mine at my work desk, beside my laptop, which means I can easily keep an eye on any activity on my phone.

My first one was in sliver, and the second one - a gift - was ordered in black. There is an ample "lip" at the bottom of the platform for the phone, which fits my i-Phone with it's case. I can use the stand in either portrait or landscape mode. In fact, I can use this stand for my phone or with my small, 7" tablet.

On the bottom, at the four corners of the base, there are rubber pads. These pads both protect your desk surface as well as keep the stand from staking around. There are also two cut-outs at the rear of the stand. You can pass any cables through the back and into the phone, if you like the idea of keeping your desk neat.

All in all, this was an easy purchase. It represents a great value for a simple idea, very well done. Yes, I would definitely purchase this item again - as in a third time! - and I did purchase this with my own money.
