Great blades - frustrating packaging.
The blades seem to work very well. Much smoother shave than the last lot I bought. However, the packaging is a bit daft. It actually boasts about recyclable outer packaging, which is true, but the blades are packaged together in boxes of 10 which are made of single use plastic, which is not so good. I could not for the life of me figure out how to open these without resorting to brute force (see photo). What were they thinking? Can't comment about longevity since I have just started using the first blade.I asked about getting the blades out of the plastic enclosure and got some very useful help. Thanks for that. The trick is to push the carboard cover (with a picture of a blade on it) to one side, through a narrow slot at one end. It's a little tricky, but once you get that out the blades pass fairly easily through the same slot.

I have been using double edge blades for the last 15 years and during that time I’ve tried most of the branded names, I was a bit doubtful about trying these but took a chance and ordered them what a great choice as these are the best blades I’ve tried so far and great value as well.

I don't normally do reviews but i had to about these! i got these by pure fluke and did not expect much but i was so wrong. for years i used Wilkinson sword blades but they have been so hard to get so looking on here i bought another brand that everyone in reviews said were good plus i also seen these and at the price they were i grabbed 2 lots, the other ones went blunt before i finished my shave these ones lasted all the way! the quality even just in the packaging is 1st class i can not say enough how good these are i even went back and ordered 2 more lots. my shave 24 hours later still feels fresh these are now my favourite blades hands down.

I LOVE these razors. They're inexpensive, effective and durable. I get a great shave from them—really close and smooth—and an average of 3-4 shaves out of each edge, so 6-8 shaves per blade. 100 blades per pack means 600-800 shaves.

From an economic point of view, these are excellent value. I paid £22 for an Edwin Jagger Safety Razor (which I really like) and 5.31 for 100 safety blades. Assuming my average of six shaves per blade (3 each side) that works out at around 5p per shave. Compare that with a 24 pack of Gillette Blue II, which would provide me with around 120 shaves (5 per razor) for £20 or16p per shave—that's three times more expensive. And, for my next pack of blades I'll still have the Edwin Jagger razor so the price will drop to 1p per shave, 1/16th of the cost of disposable Gilletes!

PLUS, unlike disposable razors, these don't pollute the planet with plastic!

So, a great save for less money with no damage to the environment. That's what you call a win-win-win situation.

I wasn’t sure what to expect at this price point, but these give as good a shave as the King C Gillette blades that came with my razor.
And, thus far, they seem to giving an equal number of shaves per blade.
I also like the fact that the blades easily dispense with a slide from the plastic holder, with another slightly smaller slot at the bottom, to stow the used blades safely.

I recently bought my first safety razor and needed blades for it. Amazon having been a fairly reliable brand for me, I found these and decided to give them a try. I was not disappointed. Now being new to using this type of blade, I cannot compare them to their contemporaries. However I have greatly enjoyed using them. They are scary sharp and last for several shaves no problem. They have helped convert me to safety razors after years of the cartridge type. They out perform all the cartridge razor blades that I have ever used and are vastly cheaper.
I like the small dispensers. I can keep one to hand and store the rest out of the way and protected. They even have a space for used blades. I like that feature, though I use a tin so that when it comes time, I can throw the lot into the recycling. Even the used blades have many uses. With care of course.
As others have mentioned, the amount of cardboard packaging is somewhat ridiculous and far more than it needs to be. But at least it is recyclable cardboard and not a hateful blister pack.

No doubt I will buy these again. Though I don't think I will need to for some time.
