A number of other reviewers have posted photos and comments on the appearance and quality of this item so I will reserve my comments for some hopefully useful installation tips:It is worth looking at the instructions. They may not be the best but they are usefulNOTE: No tools are required unless you intend to use the wall attachment kit which I would recommend if you have young children in the house. Hitting parts of the shelving with a hammer or similar tool should not be necessary and is likely to break something!On the instruction sheet it lists all the parts. It is worth checking before putting the shelves together that you have everything. It would be really annoying to discover that you are a bit missing when you have nearly finished putting it together as you would probably have to dismantle it and send it back"There were some black plastic discs loose in the box that you wonder what they are. They turned out to be packaging and were not required. You are also given a spare plastic collar in a separate bag.The plastic collars that fit on the uprights come in the form of two parts and are are marked "UP". Make sure you fit them the right way round. Note that the collars have a ridge that locates in one of the grooves on the uprights. Fitting the shelf holds the two parts of the collar assembly in place so don't expect them to click perfectly together before fitting the shelf.It's worth being realistic about what you intend to put on the shelves. One of the reviewers expressed disappointment that he couldn't put his very large (expensive) TV on the shelves. That sounds like an expensive mistake to me.We bought two units. The first took 10 minutes to put together and the second 5 minutes.I hope your installation goes just as easily!

Pay attention to the instruction booklet and follow it carefully and you'll succeed in building the perfect shelving unit. It looks good in the bathroom and will also look good in a contemporary living room it's tough enough to do its duty in the garage or workshop too and for storing your hobby boxes it's also well up to the task. Basically it'll fit in anywhere that you have space for it.

It's fantastic value for money.

Ill start with the bad point... mine came a tiny bit damaged. One of the eyelets that you feed the legs through was a tiny bit warped so the bottom shelf doesnt quite sit flush, as one of the legs cant quite push through as much as the others, making that corner marginally raised compared to the other 3. Whilst this really annoyed me at first, after a little brute force to jam it in as far as possible i continued to put the rest of it together to see how bad it would be. In the end, its not actually that bad as i made this the bottom shelf which is for heavier items. In terms of putting it together, yes the instructions are poor, but its so simple to work out that this shouldnt be an issue. It is quite basic, but once put together it all locks in quite tight and ends up a sturdy little set of shelves. Whilst trying to get the bottom shelf to sit flat, i actually stood on the bottom shelf and jumped a little to try to force it. Im 6ft1 and 185lbs and that one little shelf took my weight with relative ease? Im not sure i would advise this kind of abuse, but it demonstrates just how sturdy this actually is! I have a space between my fridge and the end cupboard that was about perfect for this and it has given me a very handy additional storage rack. Adjustable feet mean you can easily level it to your floor for stability and its made from a seemingly tough metal with a clean black finish. For the price paid, you cant go wrong with this, would recommend for sure.

I wanted some cheap mesh shelves to store some 5 and 10 litre containers in a shed -so nothing too challenging.
I can't yet say how they will stand up to a damp environment but thus far I was pleasantly surprised that they were quite a bit sturdier than I had anticipated- I was expecting something that would just about do but these seem to be really quite robust - more so than perhaps I was entitled to expect.
Assembly was reasonably straightforward- the plastic inserts are a bit fiddly but once in place no problem.
In place they are decently stable with adjustable feet- I put mine on a concrete floor and didn't have to adjust anything but I imagine there is a bit of flex in the shelves anyway.
The shelves themselves are quite solid and, although they look as though the strengthening lip all round the edge would serve as a basket to hold things on the shelf, the lip actually faces downwards which could be a positive or a negative depending on what you want to store- and the design of the supports means you don't have the option of mounting them the other way up.

Needed shelves for a small kitchen and these are perfect.

Positives:
1. Sturdy with adjustable feet to help level the shelves if the floor is a bit uneven.
2. Easy to assemble, all parts included, although the assembly instructions are a bit confusing. In reality, the instructions aren't needed as assembly is pretty obvious.
3. Shelves fit snugly and evenly on the frame.
4. Cable tie and screw-in wall anchor included to secure shelf against a sheet rock wall to prevent tipping. I would use this if you have small children.
5. I put two of these side-by-side and secured them with black cable ties.
6. Shelves are rated at 200 lbs. each if weight is evenly distributed. I have about 50 lbs. on one shelve and it holds the weight easily with no slippage of the shelf and no danger of bending or warping.
7. Suggest ordering the shelf liners for these shelves. They provide a rigid flat surface for storage of smaller items.
8. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied. I have bought one of these before for use in my garage and will definitely buy again if needed.
