These actually do what they say! The rug in our back room has a corner that constantly gets bent out of shape as it is in a ‘live’ ceramic tiled walkway between the kitchen, the garden and the dog shelf which has his toys, food and lead in between.I was a bit sceptical that a corner gripper could take the punishment of constant direct travel use, but pleasantly surprised that the AYSKTN Rug Gripper actually does! Also, the bonus is the grippers are washable and reusable, which makes them a cost effective temporary solution.The corner grippers have been down for just under a month and the carpet edge has only moved once when I moved it, which is a really great. With 12 grippers in the pack, the £6.99 price point seems good too, especially as they are reusable. If you need more than 12, a pack of 24 is under £12 which is better value.Definitely a good buy; happy to recommend.

These are specifically for wood floors, if you want carpet grippers, this is the wrong product for you.

As the instructions say to clean the rug where the grippers are to be installed, I used parcel tape to remove any loose material. And of course clean the floor where the rug is going to go.

Only time will time how long the rug will stay in place, and of course usage will vary: my rug is between my living room and kitchen, so a high traffic area. Even if I have to replace these grippers once a year: worth it. That rug moving around has been a constant bugbear!

* Please note NOT suitable for a rug on a carpet as it won't stick on well *

These are useful for door-mats or rugs which need securing on laminate, wood or vinyl flooring, to stop mat/ rug moving about or edges flipping over.

This set of 12 rug grippers arrives in a re-sealable bag without any instructions. (As there were no instructions. I did it wrong at first, but checked details on Amazon & each side of the tape has a different adhesive.)

They can be cut smaller. I cut them in half as was using on several small doormats so half size was big enough - they have stuck well and mats are no longer moving about.

Simple instructions;

1) Hoover and clean floor and underside of rug / mat before use.

2) Place mat in required position - peel off white paper and stick this side to underside corners (and edges if large) of rug/ mat. Then peel off the other side ('on floor') and press mat to floor firmly. (Stand on it!)

The grippers are removeable and can be re-used - just clean with a cloth or run under a tap and leave to dry (I have done this and they resumed their stickiness though I thought it unlikely!)

I am pleased with them and rate at 4*.

I chose these Rug Grippers for the 2 door mats we have in the porch area, because i was trying to apply to 2 mats with the 12 grippers provided, some corners had to have the grippers applied across the corner.

They were really easy to fix to the bottoms of the door mats, ensure the mat/rug bottom is relatively clean, peel the white side of 2 strips and affix to each corner as to form an L shape. As i was placing these back down on a tiled porch area, i gave the floor a quick clean to ensure the grip was maximised (the same would apply to laminate flooring). Once the pads are applied to each corner, peel the film off the black faces and you're done

No more slipping door mats, especially if it been raining or particularly cold, the black face of the gripper pads is like a silicone rubber finish, if they gather a few hairs or dust, a quick wipe with a baby-wipe and the grip returns. The seller mentions that they are washable while still on the mats, but i've not checked this

Ideal for many mats and rugs, especially those placed on tiled, laminate or lino flooring, door mats, hall runners, bath mats etc

I used these on a large door mat at my front door, which was always sliding about. They work really well and my doormat no longer moves.

The sticky pads are really easy to use. The plastic peel-off sheeting says which side sticks to the floor, and which side to the rug, so it is stuck down the correct way around. They are not too thick, and it doesn't raise the mat noticeably off the floor. I didn't have enough to go all the way round my mat, so I did leave gaps, only putting the strips in the corners and in the centre of the long edges. Even so the mat is stuck firmly to the ground

I have used these on a rubber backed mat. I had a little difficulty getting them to stick well to the mat but cleaning the mat backing with soapy water fixed this. I was a little worried they would lift the edge of the mat due to their thickness but I needn't have been, they are thin enough to have no noticeable effect. The mat no longer shifts and so they certainly schieve their objective.
