I brought these as needed a pair for work urgently due to the heatwave. I ordered 42" waist after reading the item was 'true to size' the shorts arrived promptly the next day which was fantastic but sadly when I opened the packaging the shorts looked huge and by the photos you can see they were actually 48". Quality of them looked fair.

A mixed bag. This has some excellent attention to detail in the stitching, and the pockets feel solid (unlike a lot of shorts where they develop holes straight away). To add to this, the pockets are pretty big, and you can fit a big phone / big ecig in any of them.

Also on the positive front is the durability. If you are looking for longevity, these are certain robust, however that leads on to some of the negative points - they are really stiff. They lack the flexibility and comfort that one may well be looking for - especially during summer activities. Also on the negative front these are fairly heavy. Again, this is great for longevity, however probably not exactly what you want in summer time, and definitely not if you are playing sport or something.

These need breaking in as well, I gave them a couple of washes with extra fabric conditioner, and whilst they are still stiff, the initial wearing was not as rought. I recommend the same. Also a size 30 was more like a 32.

So a very mixed bag. If you want a tough and fairly warm pair of shorts, these do look good and I like the blue camo I bought.

Material und Verarbeitung der Cargo Shorts machen auf den ersten Blick einen guten Eindruck.

Dennoch habe ich die Hose umgehend retourniert, da sie viel zu locker saß. Ich (1,90 m; gut 80 kg) trage normalerweise eine Hosenweite von 33 bis 34, die Größentabelle gibt bei einem Gewicht von 75 bis 85 kg die Weite 34 vor, also habe ich 34 gekauft. Die Hose sitzt jedoch sehr locker und mit Gürtel wird der Bund soweit zusammengezogen, dass es komisch aussieht. Hinzu kommt noch, dass der Bund elastisch ist und ich so problemlos beide Arme zusätzlich mit in die Hose stecken könnte.

Wieder eine Retoure, die mit einer realistischen Größentabelle hätte vermieden werden können. Dafür zwei Sterne Abzug.
