Step 1 - Ready to UseAllow the test device and urine specimen to equilibrate to room temperature 59-86ºF (15-30°C) before opening the foil pouch. Remove the test device from the sealed pouch and use it as soon as possible. |
Step 2 - Place in UrineWith arrows pointing toward the urine specimen, immerse the strip test vertically in the urine specimen for at least 5 seconds. Do not pass the maximum line (MAX) on the strip test when immersing the strip. |
Step 3 - Wait 5 MinutesLay the strip down on a flat, non-absorbent, clean surface. Start the timer and wait for the colored line(s) to appear. Read results in five minutes. Do not read results after more than 5 minutes. |
Step 4 - Read the Results1.Positive (pregnant): Distinct color bands appear in the Control and Test Zones. 2.Negative (not pregnant): Only one color band appears, in the Control Zone. No apparent band on the Test Zone. 3.Invalid: No visible band at all, or there is a visible band only in the test region and not in the control region. Repeat with a new test kit. |

If you are an avid tester yes, but know it’s not the most sensitive.
Great value for your money, if you are someone who is an avid tester it’s great because it gives you the freedom to do that. However, I did not test positive until 18 DPO and in my cycle that was at the 5w1d mark, top result was from my first positive on both of these tests (included another slightly less ‘cheapy’ test for reference). Just the day before these positive tests I had tested (with only the MomMed strip) and it was negative. I took another test today at 5w5d for reference (bottom test for both) and so far this is as dark as the line has gotten and seems to be remaining consistent. So if you are someone who tracks line darkness (as some who have experienced loss feel more secure doing) I would not use these as most tests come out looking like the top one. *All tests taken with morning urine for reference*-Overall I enjoyed them, I was someone who started to test from day 8 DPO until my positive result (or would have tested until period start). However, we had just started trying this cycle, but for women seeing negatives until higher DPO dates (or 5+ weeks pregnant) may find they are put off when you are a mom who has experienced loss or a women who has been having difficulty getting pregnant and for that I did lower my rating a little bit!

Great if you’re like me and test often and want early detection tests! I didn’t get a faint positive or any false positives until 6 days before expected period. 3 days later, the line is much more bold. I posted a picture and the first one is very hard to see the faint line but the second one is a little easier. 3rd is very clear. After the first 2, I confirmed with a digital clear blue early detection and FRER. Both positive ❤️ i love that these come with urine collection cups also, so convenient!! However! I must say these tests are famous for Evap lines. Do NOT read test after 5 minutes. Or you will be let down by seeing a faint positive. I want you all to know If positive it will show within the 5 minutes timeframe. Faint or bold. I used for 2 cycles… last month not pregnant and this month I am. Sending baby dust to all xxx

I took this test three days after my missed period and it had such a faint second line that I thought that it was negative at first. Upon second glance around 10 mins after believing that it was negative, I saw the faintest line. It was BARELY visible. I took a less “cheap” brand of test to confirm and it was much clearer. The next morning I took another test from this product and the result was slightly more obvious. I would not recommend this product for testing before your expected period, or if you’re anxiously awaiting those double lines.

We were TTC so I (don’t recommend this) was a chronic tester . These tests gave me a extremely faint positive 10 days after ovulation (I use natural cycles to track ovulation) or day 24 or my cycle!! I took a test every day following that till my expected period and they ever so slightly got darker . Don’t expect the lines to double in color everyday like the more expensive brands but I’m here to say I’m 25 weeks now and these tests were the start of my happy journey

(And by accurate I just mean the first response may pick it up a little sooner)
The way I do it is when I get a positive on these I take a first response to verify. But it saves me the wasted first response tests.
I was able to get a faint positive 3 days before my period was expected. And then took a first response and the line was darker.
Also, something I’ve noticed that others have noted-
The line does darken after the pee on the strip dries.
And I took a test on the day after my period was expected to just see the line progression and it was very dark.
I am very happy with their quality considering the price.
I’ve included 2 pictures.
The first picture is the first response verses this brand. (The line is very light but more visible in real life) and the second is the one from the first testing (3 days before the missed period.) and the second strip is the one from the day after the missed period to show the line progression.
*I almost dropped the first test strip and scratched it and tore it up a little when trying to catch it. Sorry.
