Installation Instruction:

1.Shut off water source

2.Remove the existing filter by turning i left,and then take it out

3.Remove the cap of a new filter,insert it into refrigerator and turn right to lock it in place

4.Recover the water source,and check it there is leakage

5.Run the working prcess for 4 minutes(about 8 cups of water )for purge6 reset replacement indicator light by pressing the ICE TYPE button and the CHILD LOCK(or MOISTURE CONTROL)button simultaneously for 3 seconds

I bought a package before and they were fine but this time every time I would put one in they just leak all over the place and I left it to see if it would go away and it never did. I tried to reinsert it multiple times and it sounds like it’s in and feels like it’s in but clearly there’s something wrong because it was more than one. Only one in the kit actually worked once I played with it enough but once that one ran out of time, I had to put the third one in and it did the same exact thing. Waste of money don’t buy.

I installed one of the filters just as I have done before. Everything seemed okay so I shut the fridge. Came back 20 minutes later to get something and the shelves were covered in water. Had to spend 1/2 hour mopping up. Tried the second filter and it also leaked. At this point I just put the original filter back in and it was okay but it’s also past it’s effective life span. So to sum up I would like a full refund/ or 3 replacement filters.

Used the two filters and they worked perfectly, went to insert the third and later in the day there was leaking in the basement, turns out the filter had been faulty and leaking throughout the day, we’re lucky we caught it because it was leaking near electrical and would have caused damage to our hardwood.
