I recently picked up the Metapen Pencil D1 for my iPad and I am quite impressed with the results. Full disclosure: I have not used the Apple Pencil so I have nothing to compare to. But at $37 Cdn it's about 1/3 the price of it's Apple counterpart and seems to do a pretty amazing job.Setup is pretty straight-forward. Once charged using the included USB-C cable, you simply press and hold the button to put it in pairing mode, and it will pair with your device via Bluetooth.The D1 fits comfortably in my hand for long drawing/writing sessions without causing discomfort or fatigue. It's simple to use with only one (programmable) button to deal with, and the customizable features using the Metapen app add a whole other layer of personalization and convenience.One of my favorite features is the tilt adjustment, which affects the line thickness. It adds depth and dimension to my artwork, allowing for more expressive strokes and shading techniques. And let's not forget about palm rejection. Being able to rest my palm on the iPad screen without worrying about accidental marks or disruptions to my work has been a game-changer, allowing me to write or draw more naturally.Overall, I couldn't be happier with the Metapen Pencil D1. Whether you're a professional artist or a casual doodler, this stylus is a must-have for anyone looking for quality and functionality without breaking the bank. Highly recommended!

I love the ability to press to get back to home page, sometimes the black case twists over the button, not much of an issue. Just be aware it can. As it will not fit in the holder on the side of my ipad case, I keep misplacing mine. Wish the button was a different color from the pen, easier to see. It is easy to use. No issues connecting to my ipad.

Battery charge vs usage is below what is claimed. Not by a great deal, but enough that it is noticable. The button is either poorly placed, or much to sensitive. There is an " accidental activation" feature, but that's also prone to be annoying depending on the app you're using. I've Had the stylus for a few weeks, and it's 1/3 that I rotate with... The nib is substandard, and already due to be replaced.

I wouldn't purchase again, coupled with the lack of magnetic charge &/or just the magnetic stowage - there's not anything spectacular to make this stylus worth the effort .

It does right well, and the ability to calibrate and select your grasp postion, along with the rapid charging give it the 3star

When I bought my new iPad I was discouraged to find that the older Apple Pencil won't work with my new device. I was reluctant to pay the asking price for the new Apple Pencil so bought this product. It works perfectly well though, of course, doesn't have the sophistication of the Apple device. I use it to access my screen like a mouse, and handwriting in Goodnotes. It's fine.
