I agree that it adds to the weight, but the product came with nice storage bag with a small pocket to keep wires. To me, it's worth to carry if you need extended screens. No need for extra power cable or setup. It's plug and play.

It was only in recent years that these portable screens started to appear on the market. This laptop screen extender is designed to clip on to my laptop's existing 15" screen and gives an additional FHD (1920x1080) screen space for me to work with, basically doubling it.
My laptop doesn't support USB-C alt mode so I have to use two ports on my laptop: the HDMI output for video and a USB port for power. It deploys in less than a minute and no drivers are necessary.
This is not a touch screen but I never use that anyway. The backlight is powerful and it is completely comfortable doing my work on this screen. I have no complaints at all.
