Liner had a hole so the water went everywhere
I used this cooler for the first time and was incredibly disappointed to find out that the liner had a defect as one corner was not properly sealed which caused water to drip from the corner.

I used this cooler for the first time and was incredibly disappointed to find out that the liner had a defect as one corner was not properly sealed which caused water to drip from the corner.

Pros
-The insulation feels pretty thick. This had no trouble holding temperature on a recent 10hr day hike in 32 degree weather. It kept all our drinks and food cold.
-I like that the main compartment zipper has a waterproof zipper. This helps against leaks but also helps improve the insulation.
-The main compartment is waterproof as all sides (except the top as its separated by a zipper) are made of one thick PEVA material.
-Has many compartments including one to put plates and utensils. Another compartment on top is thick and wide enough to be able to put a large flat food compartment or even a small bag of chips.
- The molle webbing on one side is very useful for things such a wine bottle opener. I also found that you can use it secure the wine bottle into place so you don’t need to worry as much about the wine bottle falling off when you bend over on a hike.
-I like the included bottle opener which will come in handy for those days I forget to bring a bottle opener.
- The padding on the straps and back are much appreciated especially when carrying it when its full of drinks, food and ice.
Cons
-This is a bit on the heavier side for a cooler backpack. For day hikes though it shouldn’t be a problem.
-Some of the stitching was fraying when I received the item though only in a few places. That being said the stitching was not great throughout, especially the inner stitching.
-I am not sure you can actually fit 36 x 330ml regular cans in the main compartment as advertised. This would require there to be 3 layers of 12 cans each. I was able to fit 12 cans per layer but of the narrower 330ml tall cans and this is with nothing else tacking up space in the other pockets. I think a better estimate would be around 30 cans in volume.
-You will definitely not be able to fit 4 bottles of wine in the side pockets as advertised, only one on each side for a total of 2.

I really like the TRATHM cooler backpack, we ordered it specifically for the beach and camping and it definitely works well for us. We like the back pack style that makes this easier to carry. It helps us to keep our hands free for carrying other items.
The backpack cooler is very well made, stitched very well, sturdy. The inside of the cooler is lined making it easy to clean up after use, you can easily wipe up any messes or dump out any water from melted ice.
In the photograph with the cans of pop in the bag, there are 8 cans in there and as you can see there is plenty of room for more drinks or other food items or anything else you might need on a day trip to the beach.
Plenty of pockets, sturdy straps, and a nice little bottle opener built right in on one of the straps.

• It's a combination of fabric and thermal fabric, designed to keep items cool, and it's a convenient and practical solution for various outdoor activities. It does help keeping everything inside cool, and it seems like its also leak proof; I didn’t notice water spilling out from it.
• Something I particularly like about this backpack is the design and color. They're both beautiful, giving it a stylish look.
• The material feels strong, and the medium size is fairly good.
• The comfort level of this cooler backpack is another thing. It's really easy to carry around, and has enough pockets to organize everything.
I believe this cooler backpack to be a good investment. It's convenient, easy to use, looks good, and it works as expected.
