All-in-one kit that works as advertised.
I fixed an iPad air that had a completely smashed glass using this replacement kit. The kit comes complete with all needed tools. I followed the instructions in the YouTube video provided in the Q&A's available on this product listing. I was happy that the replacement case already has a new button and the wiring done, it was easier than the video on YouTube. Took roughly 90 minutes to complete the replacement. It is a tidy job, but if your hands don't shake you should be fine. There is one thing I thought I should warn future customers about. In the instruction video they show how to use a hair dryer to be able to warm up the glue so that you can lift the old glass and separated from the iPad case. I made the mistake of using a very very hot air blower that I use normally to shrink-wrap product in plastic bags in our online store. That blower extremely hot and unfortunately it seems to have damaged the side of the iPad screen in the process. I guess some pixels were affected by the high heat and discoloration now happens on the left side of the screen at two places. See the attached photo as a reference. This problem has nothing to do with the replacement kit and it has to do with my choice of tool for the job. So I strongly advise any future customers to make sure to use a normal hair dryer at low heat and receive gradually. Apart from this mistake on my part, he replacement kit so far is working very well. The button is responding nicely and touch to on the screen. Time will tell if the product is durable. But so far I am happy customer for the price that I paid.
