Everything I need and more. With a decent usage every week (4-5 training a week) with full functionnality, my battery last minimum 1 week. I don't let it go below 10% and I charge it every week when I want to load more music. Satisfied with battery life. Garmin connect app is fine. Decent buy, a bit expensive though

There's not much to say that has not been said already about this watch. I upgraded from the Fenix5X and it is has noticeable improvements. It is a mature platform ( softare and hardware) with more features than the average person will ever use. The biggest improvement is how long the battery lasts. No exaggeration, the battery life is something that will have apple watch users look at with envy. It is pricey, but if you want something to track all your activities and still be a great looking watch, with a ton of useful features, and not have to worry about battery life, this is worth those pennies.

I had a Fenix 5 Sapphire purchased in 2016-2017. Its battery still lasts 10 days in between charges.

This Fenix 7 Pro Sapphire does not have an easier-to-see (brighter) screen. Other reviews made it sound like that was improved, but it looks the same to me.

The solar ring appears to eat into the watch face's display size. I would prefer a bigger screen and no solar. The battery lasts long enough without solar. Minor gripe.

The real reason why I didn't rate this Fenix 7 Pro watch 5 stars is that it's very expensive, despite not offering significantly new features* over my 7-year-old Fenix watch.

* ... except for the oxygen monitor, which I might find useful as I get older and more health conscious. Also the flashlight, which I love. It's bright and very useful in my home's crawl space & taking garbage out at night.

Other than that; telling time, viewing messages, the step counter, and the heart rate monitor are my top-used features that already existed in Fenix 5. Is paying $939+ worth adding a LED and maybe O2 sensor to my watch? I'm still debating on that. Fenix 5 watches are now going for around $150 at the time of this writing - used though.

***Update: I went back to a Fenix 7 as the battery life of the smaller 7s is really underwhelming. From easily 20+ days with the 7 to barely 10 days with the 7s. Yes the 7 is bigger but all proportions observed, it wears better and given they are the same exact price, I'll stick with the 7.

And yes, this one also came in a beat up open box.***

It seems Amazon been selling returns for quite sometimes at the price of new items. Both Garmin I bought in the last months came in the same way.
I'm returning one and keeping this as I'm overall satisfied with the product but would have rather have a discount given it was not a "new watch".

The watch came without a seal on box and clear signs of manipulation. Fingerprints everywhere.

I don't understand. The item is over 1000$ it's not cheep, but never come back my money or item in good condition.
After couple days, I bought a new Garmin...How easy to connect to smart phone!!!
