They’re the first wireless earbuds I have owned; I don’t have a reference point to compare them to other than wired earbuds such as Sennheiser CX-80S I previously used up until a few days ago. Anker P20i is very good for the price, and have wider range than same priced Sennheiser’s (instrumentation or notes not audible with Sennheiser’s) and more punch and bass in the lows too; Sennheiser’s do have slightly more clarity in the highs by default but this can be helped with EQ. (See included macOS Music equalizer image: lightly reducing lows, lightly increasing highs.) They’re a good deal, I definitely recommend. But if you’ve used far more expensive wireless earbuds with assumedly far higher quality audio, you’ll probably not be as impressed. Pairing is simple but I had to reset them as only the right earbud paired at first. (To reset: put them back into their charging case for a few seconds; take out of case and put into your ears, then immediately — before 1 minute has elapsed — press both for 10 seconds until after the chime finishes. Then reconnect in Bluetooth.) I have gotten 10 hours of listening before requiring charging; case holds additional charge. When below 20% charge an audible voice message intermittently plays telling you. You could listen all day with only 20 minutes to quick charge in the case once or twice depending on how many hours there are in your day. They reach high volume and maintain clarity across range, although at very high volume they start to muddy. They include three earpiece nubs: small, medium, large. I use the large; secure fit and comfortable. (They possibly would fall out if highly active such as jogging or running, but nodding along with music, shaking head, walking, etc. they’re secure and only sometimes require light readjusting.) My only complaint — and why I deducted a star — is that the one included cable is USB-C on the earbuds’ case side and USB 3 on the charging port’s side. Anker assumes that someone already has a USB 3 charger to plug into, such as for iPhone; some people don’t, they have wireless chargers. I have a modern 2020 MacBook Pro with USB-C ports not USB 3. Thankfully, I already had a USB-C to USB 3 dongle for using with my MBP (older external drive) — charge the earbuds off the MBP using dongle and Anker-supplied cable. With Samsung T7 SSDs also available on Amazon, for example, they include two cables: USB-C to USB-C (modernity), and USB-C to USB 3 (approaching archaicism). Anker should similarly provide two cable options, even if it increases item cost by whatever fairly minimal amount compensating for the additional’s inclusion; 5-star if they did.

These earbuds aren't the best for noise cancellation (but this reflects my experience with ALL earbuds - if you want noise cancellation, you need to opt for headphones). My teenage daughter loves these earbuds! We've ended up buying them about four times now because she keeps losing them, but when they go on sale, they’re a great value.

The noise-cancelling is effective ( she avoids my requests to do the dishes with ease!), and the sound quality is good with a nice bass. The batter life is also a highlight– it’s amazing! She can use them for days without needing find a cord to charge the case.

The headphones work very well. The connect correctly, unlike another brand around this price-point. They sound really good for the price. I mostly use them for audiobooks and podcasts but music sounds good on them too. I like the small size of the case because I often want them in my pocket while I'm at work so I can listen to something during downtime.

They charge quickly and last at least as long as advertised, but I think that they last longer.

They use USB c, as everything should these days.

The touch controls work as the instructions indicate that they should. I find that the touch controls work better than most others, at any price point.

They do exactly what they're supposed to do, and I'd buy them again. I don't like spending a lot on earbuds because I lose them every so often, or break them at work.

I have not been disappointed by anything I've bought from Anker. Their quality for the price are unmatched.

I have been buying Anker earbuds for years but I have resisted going to true ear buds because I find the overall concept so flawed and slanted in favour of the manufacturer due to an amplified need to re-purchase. (With three pieces (2 ear buds + 1 case) vs one piece with a pair of wire-connected Bluetooth ear buds you have instantly tripled the likelihood of needing to buy a replacement). However, despite my personal preference, technology surpassed my opinion and I found myself needing to buy a pair of new earbuds.

I have spent decades working in media and so I am a bit of a stickler for good sound. Initially I bought a different (cheaper) brand thinking I wouldn’t care as much if I lost them. However the sound quality was atrocious so I never use them.

The other day I purchased the SoundCore P21i and honestly - it felt like coming home. The quality of sound for the price you pay is so superior. I love the noise cancelling ability of these ear buds. Thanks to the various sizes of rubber ear covers these perfectly fit my smaller ears and the design is actually much more comfortable than I expected.

The battery life seems to match the typical SoundCore Standard (which is fabulous) and I appreciate the string on the case. The ear buds snap in so distinctly that it is obvious when they are in place to charge and the case seems to be designed well in that it has not popped open in a pocket or purse.

I do miss the design of the one piece SoundCore Spirit Pro - those were perfection in a Bluetooth earbud IMO, but if I have to go with a wireless earbud I would recommend these P21i’s to anyone.

Please note: I have zero affiliation with the company, nor have I ever. I genuinely believe Anker has a dominant advantage in sound quality and design in the mid-cost audio market.

My old galaxy buds finally stopped working. I just needed something for the gym and for audiobooks. I am very impressed. I payed $25 and the quality is comparable to the galaxy buds 2. No fancy features like spacial audio or noise cancelling but they do the job. I am also impressed with the battery life. Been using them for 4 hours and they are at 60%. Can't beat it for the price. Very comfortable as well.

In so far, good pair of earbuds I got for $25ish with minimal issues.

The audio quality sound alright but I'm not an audiophile so it might differ for you. Biggest issue is that sometimes I hear a bit of hissing noise when it plays any sound on any of my devices. Some reviews online had the same problem as well, fixed most of it by using the troubleshoot thing inside the Bluetooth settings. But still, it will persist. More noticeable in lower volumes and if people are just talking on videos. Resetting it, upgrading it, changing presets doesn't work. It may be the Bluetooth version being different than the earbuds.

My other issue is the charging case seems to only hold two charges before needing to charge it and it feels too quick? Might be a nitpicking since I need to use these daily. The LED status on the charging case could be better seen like when opening it instead of needing the earbuds to be inserted to see if it needs to be charged or not.

Otherwise, it's good but I don't think I would pay full price.

Ok, first of all, I don't buy expensive earbuds. Never have, never will. I like good sounding music but I'm not an audiophile, I have kids and dogs, I travel for work occasionally, things get lost, etc. I've been using Boltune BT-BH020's for the last several years with a lot of success. Good sound quality, nice little magnetic case, USB-C charging, etc. My wife and I both have 2 pairs each, and they were about $35 a pair the last time we bought some. One pair finally crapped out on me so I went to order another set, and unfortunately they no longer exist. Not surprising considering the lifespan of cheaper Chinese brands on Amazon, but I was still a little disappointed.

I liked the form factor of the Boltune case so I started looking for similar options, and landed on the Anker Soundcore P20i. I have always had good luck with Anker chargers and accessories in the past, so I was expecting a good, simple set of earbuds for $20, but nothing fancy. I tell you what though, I'm pretty blown away with what you get with these - easily the best "budget" level earbuds I've ever used.

Packaging is typical Anker - excellent. Well put together, well protected. The earbud case itself is just slightly smaller than my old Boltune cases, but it comes with an attached lanyard, and has a notched area in the front for ease of opening - something that Boltune never got quite right (opening those cases was always a PITA, especially in the dark). Operation is simple - open the case and the earbuds power on (they will automatically go into device pairing mode if they haven't been paired yet). Return the earbuds to the case and close it to power them down and recharge. A couple additional sets of different sized earbud inserts are included so you can find the size that works best for your ears, as well as a 6" USB-C charging cable and a well written instruction manual. Of note, Anker placed plastic covers over the charging prongs to keep them from being damaged in shipping or powering on accidentally and draining the batteries - a nice touch. The case battery was almost fully charged upon arrival and only took about 10 minutes to top off, and the earbuds showed 100% via the app right out of the box (more on the app in a second).

Once paired, the sound quality is fantastic, especially at this price point. They easily outperform my other earbuds, especially in the low end. Mids and highs are crisp without being screechy or piercing. I can't really comment on bluetooth range as my phone is usually in my pocket while I'm mowing the lawn or working in the garage, so I've never really needed to test that aspect. Battery life is advertised as 10 hours on the earbuds alone without charging them at all, and 30 hours if you return them to the case to recharge between uses. I haven't had to recharge the case yet so I can't confirm that, but I have to reason to doubt that they'll work as advertised. They also say that ten minutes of charging will get you 2 hours of listening time, so these thing would be great for the airport even if you forgot to charge them beforehand and only have a few minutes between flights.

What really sets these things apart though? The app! It is well designed, obviously created by native English-speaking developers, and is simple and intuitive to use. The first time I synced the earbuds to the app, I got an alert for a firmware update! I've NEVER had a cheap pair of earbuds that had that kind of support from the manufacturer - really awesome to see. Going beyond that, you can see the battery level for each earbud, configure the sound profile you prefer, turn on a bass boost if that's your thing, you can configure the left and right touchpads on the earbuds to do the function of your choice (answer, hang up, go forward one track, go back one track, etc) - and there's even a device locator that will play a loud high-pitched beep through the earbud of your choice if you accidentally drop one and can't find it. That feature alone is worth it's weight in gold - I can't tell you how many times I've dropped an earbud off of my nightstand and had to root around looking for the stupid thing, lol.

All in all, I'm really impressed with these for the money. Hands down the best earbuds I've ever owned, and they are the cheapest so far! Well done, Anker!

Ich benutze die Kopfhörer regelmäßig beim Joggen, sie bleiben fest im Ohr, der Klang ist vollkommen okay, die Bedienung ist unkompliziert und es gibt keine Bluetooth Verbindungsprobleme. Die App mit der Option, die seitlichen Tasten individuell anzupassen, ist ein nettes zusätzliches Feature.
