Enjoy Personal Space Anywhere: Low, mid, and high frequency noises are individually targeted by the 3-stage noise cancelling system. Hybrid active noise cancelling reduces low-frequency sounds like airplane engines and traffic noise by up to 98%. The other 2 stages filter out mid and high frequency noises such as crying babies and barking dogs.

Ideal for Long-Haul Flights and Traveling: Up to 50 hours of playtime in noise cancelling mode will easily cover a vacation, an around-the-world flight, or weeks of commutes. In normal mode, you'll get up to 65 hours of listening, and if you run out of power mid-journey, a 5-minute fast charge gives you 4 hours of playtime.

Tailored Noise Cancelling Response: Adaptive noise cancelling detects external noises around you and automatically adjusts to different tailored modes. It switches to maximum level on flights or trains, reduces wind noise when you're outdoors, and switches to a lower, comfortable level indoors.

Highly-Detailed Sound: Experience sound with new levels of detail thanks to Space Q45 Bluetooth headphones' innovative double-layer diaphragm drivers. Bass is extended for extra punch, vocals are rich, and treble is crisp—allowing every layer of the song to shine through.

Hi-Res Wireless Sound: LDAC mode transmits up to 3× more data than standard Bluetooth codecs for a stunning high-resolution experience, even when using Space Q45 Bluetooth headphones in wireless mode.

Secure and Well-Fitting: Space Q45 noise cancelling headphones are packed with comfort-enhancing details. The aluminum alloy hinges flex to fit the shape of your head, and the cushioned headband has a seamless sliding design for easy extension. To fit ears of different sizes, the ear cups have a wider diameter, plus bouncy-soft cushioning for hours and hours of comfort.

soundcore App: Choose from 22 EQ presets, select a suitable level of noise cancelling and transparency, set volume level limits, customize the controls, and more.

Customized Transparency: Talk mode allows you to speak to people in your vicinity with ease, while the 5 levels of transparency in the app allow you to choose how much of your surroundings you let in.

Multipoint Connection: Connect Space Q45 noise cancelling headphones to 2 devices at the same time—ideal for when you want to switch between listening to music, attending remote meetings, and making calls.

High-Quality Audio for Budget-Conscious Audiophiles
5 out of 5 stars
High-Quality Audio for Budget-Conscious Audiophiles
As an audiophile, I was seeking a pair of headphones that deliver excellent sound quality without breaking the bank. I’ve tested high-end models like the XM4s, XM5s, and AirPods Max, so my standards are pretty high. These headphones may not quite match those premium options, but considering they cost less than half the price, their performance is truly impressive. The sound quality exceeded my expectations, with well-detailed highs and lows and balanced treble. The only area where some might find these headphones lacking is the bass, which isn’t as powerful as most consumer headphones. However, this distinction makes them unique. You can adjust the equalizer, and the Soundcore app features "HearID," which customizes sound presets based on your preferences. If you crave more bass, consider the Soundcore Space One instead. The battery life is surprisingly good. Once fully charged, I can listen to music for hours every day for four to five days. The carrying case feels premium too, enhancing portability.A couple of downsides are worth mentioning: there is no wear detection (a feature available in the cheaper Space One and even the previous Q30 and Q35 models) and no LDAC sound when connected to two devices simultaneously. It’s weird why Soundcore didn’t include these features in their most expensive model, as their inclusion would have made these headphones perfect. The noise cancellation is excellent, and the microphone quality is decent, though it does pick up a fair amount of background noise. Overall, these headphones are fantastic, and you won't go wrong if you choose them. However, if you’re looking for a bass-heavy sound and more features, the Space One might be a better fit. It’s cheaper and may have slightly lower build quality, but the extra features could significantly enhance your experience.

I've thought about it at length and want to update my review from 3 stars to 5.
I'm doing this as I was trying to compare the Q45s to XM3, XM5 etc. when to be fair, they're in a different price category. So, for price of the Q45s, they're excellent and represent great value.
Original:
I have 3 Soundcore earbud variants, 2 motion booms and my wife has q20s.
I'm so happy with the booms for the price and what they do and my top of the line Liberty 3s sound fantastic.
We've been amazed at how good Soundcore products sound and at great prices.
I have a hard time getting headphones to fit as the clamping pressure gets to me after a short time. I have a set of Sony XM3s that I love but a 1/2 of wearing gets uncomfortable.
I was impressed with the reviews on YT that the new Q45s were getting so I ordered them.
Received them and yes, they don't fit into the carrying case quite as well as you'd like but the build quality is good, case is nice and they felt comfortable when I tried them on.
They connected quickly and easily with the soundcore app like all my other SC products and I was able to get my favourite SC sound profile going right away.
All good so far.
Then I hit play and I was instantly hit with the realization that these were not going to replace the Sonys, sonically.
If I hadn't had the XM3s in the first place, I may have liked the Q45s.
The Sony's bass: more detail and punch. The top end, defined and detailed.
Yes you EQ to your heart's content and I did but they just don't have the punch and musicality of XM3s no matter how much I adjusted.
The Q45s are really good and I love my other soundcore products but I'm returning them and will put up with the discomfort until I find a comfortable and excellent sounding replacement. Probably the XM5s.

Well, I have a very nice desktop set up with top shelf Hi-Fi Man and Audeze headphones driven by a Burson amplifier. So I like nice sound and have spent most of my life getting it.

For Bluetooth stuff I have the AirPods Max and Sony WH-1000XM4 both over the ear headphones. For reasons needed not get into, I needed another set and didn’t want to spend allot of money. But I still wanted good sound. So I gambled on the Soundcore Q45 as they had good reviews and were on sale.

I’m lovin these. For Bluetooth headphones they sound great. They are at least as good as my Sony WH-1000XM4, but with better comfort and build quality. And may I point you to the price of these!!

Connectivity is as good as my AirPods Max to my iPhone. I turned them on and go. Really well done. I like the comfort and aesthetics to boot. Sound is great (for wireless). Noise cancelling and transparent modes are very good, but fall a tiny bit short of the AirPods Max. Not a dealbreaker by any means. Battery life is fantastic. The case is beautiful aesthetically and functional but very budget friendly. Again, not a dealbreaker. Can’t see anyone being disappointed with these. Good job Anker/Soundcore!

Very highly recommended.

In an attempt to find which was the best, I tested the Soundcore Life Q30, Life Q35 and Space Q45.

I'm a bit of an audiophile but I'm also notoriously cheap. So Soundcore, being a brand that I feel delivers good sound quality for value, was my first choice when choosing over-ear headphones. I have a couple of their in-ear headphones (Soundcore Liberty 2 Pro and Liberty 3 Pro) and I have been very happy with their sound quality and, most particularly, their custom EQ options available on the Soundcore App.

I was looking for a set of headphones that, of course, sounded great but also sounded reasonably good when connected passively with an aux cable. They would be used mostly as a passive set of headphones for monitoring a digital drum set and guitar multi-effects pedal. I wasn't interested in using ANC while in aux mode because it introduces a slight amount of delay to the audio signal.

First I tried the Life Q30. The sound when connected via bluetooth was reasonable. But rather boomy and lacking in clarity and definition. ANC functioned reasonably well and transparency mode was very clear as well. When connected to an aux cable, the sound was muddy and bass heavy. With little to no definition and clarity. I returned them and decided to try the next model up...

The Life Q35 were a noticeable improvement over the Q30's in sound quality via bluetooth. The clarity and definition were improved, but the boomyness remained. No amount of EQ could tame the low-end. ANC functioned reasonably well and transparency mode was also very clear. I also encountered some issues with some devices not syncing audio correctly with this model that I had never experienced before with other bluetooth headphones. When connected to an aux cable, the sound was almost identical to the Q30. This was disappointing because it leads me to assume that the drivers in both the Q30 and Q35 are probably identical.

After returning the Q35's, the Space Q45's went on sale and I decided to give them a try. The sound quality via bluetooth was the best overall (to my liking). Boomyness had been replace with more clarity. If you like the boomy sound, it can be achieved via the "Bass-Up" option in the Soundcore app. Although the sound was improved, it was nowhere near as good to my ears as the Soundcore Liberty 3 Pro earbuds. ANC was best overall and transparency worked well initially. However, I was prompted to install an updated firmware on the Soundcore app, which rendered transparency almost unusable. Sound via the aux input was reasonable and clear. But was still a bit disappointing. So, in the end, I returned them. And I have decided to stick to using my Liberty 3 Pro earbuds for wireless listening (which are excellent) and I will look for a pair of regular, passive, over-ear studio headphones for wired listening.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent headphones for air travel, with some quibbles
Reviewed in the United States on January 4, 2024
Colour Name: BlueVerified Purchase
I'll do this review as a pro/con. For reference, my previous travel headphones were the very old-school Bose QC15, which were the only game in town for true noise cancelling headphones in the day but didn't have Bluetooth (without a 3rd-party thingy with a funky charger that went into the headphone port), and they finally gave up the ghost after a long, hard travel run.

PROS:

1. Sound quality. I'm not an audiophile, but these sound great to my ears, especially after tuning using their HearID function. (#2 below).
2. The app is really helpful. I especially like the HearID (auto EQ), which provides tones of varying volume and pitch and adjusts the EQ for your hearing after making you realize you're getting old and just how many high tones you can no longer hear. It is surprising how much better music sounds after doing this, and I hate manually adjusting EQs. I use Android, and there is even a widget that allows control of the noise cancelling right from the main screen.
3. Battery life. Still had battery level "medium" after an 11-hour international plane trip (used them for probably 7-8 hours of this).
4. Noise cancelling, which works quite well on airplanes. Turn them on, and silence... sometimes I just do that without music for some peace and quiet during air travel.
5. The carrying case is hard-shelled and has withstood travel well so far. Initially it can be a little tricky folding them right to fit.

CONS (quibbles, really):

1. They are a little bulky on the ears. They are not heavy (quite light actually), and unnoticeable when sitting upright. But using them while laying down can be a little uncomfortable.
2. The pads that go around your ears are overall quite comfortable, but they don't breathe particularly well so your ears tend to get a little hot and sweaty after several hours. I think this is just the nature of around-the-ear headphones, as my Bose set had this problem but not quite as bad.
3. The buttons are tiny, with black shiny icons on a matte black button. When you're getting older, the inability to hear high tones comes with the need for reading glasses to read darn near anything, so those tiny icons can be difficult to see for me. Once you're used to where buttons are, it becomes less of an issue, but they are small and take some "muscle memory" when they are on your ears to remember where the power button is and where the volume up/down is.

Overall, even with the minor quibbles, I am really happy with them. Sound-wise, they are comparable if not a little better than my old Bose set. Functionality-wise, they are way better, especially when combined with the app and the HearID function. I think Anker has done a great job with their Soundcore line, providing a quality product for a reasonable price.
