It's just sturdy enough for a light monitor, but one of the screwable plastic knobs was already stripped out-of-the-box. Does anyone know how to get a replacement part without having to disassemble and ship back the entire unit?

Purchased this as a Christmas gift for my mother in law who is disabled. She uses a "TV tray table" for meals as it's more accessible and functional for her. This little table is amazing. It adjust heights and moves easily but also has locks for the wheels. She eats her meals and it doesn't move around on her and is quite sturdy. She enjoys this gift and was shocked at how durable and nice it was. Gone are the days of the ugly TV table trays!

- easy to assemble (includes two headed screwdriver and a wrench)
- lightweight
- movable due it being on wheels
- tray is height adjustable

Dislikes
- included screwdriver isn't great and the thin wrench made it hard to turn the nuts well during assembly (it needs to be 2-3x thicker)
- can tip backward / forward when wheels are locked (I recommend not locking the wheels)
- wheels feel cheap (they're 1 inch in diameter)
- tray is not perfectly level (front is about 2-3 mm higher than the back)
- height adjustment is not synchronized between the bars

The min height adjustment is about 28 inches (from bottom of tray not the top) and not 27.5 inches as stated in the description though I would've preferred if the tray could be adjusted to a lower level like 25 inches as it would suit different seating arrangements better. Overall, I'd say this was a decent value given the price and quality.

When I was told I was going to be laid up for 6-12 months, unable to walk much, and not able to stay in my own apartment, I knew I'd need something to hold my laptop and other essentials. This table fit the bill. The wheels aren't too tall that they can't slide under the sofa, there's plenty of surface space, and it appears to be sturdy. It took my senior citizen parents about 30 minutes to put it together.
UPDATE: in less than 2 months the back brace bar broke. For some reason the locks keep falling into lock mode, which isn't fun for someone who happens to be bedridden who's trying to move the table from an awkward angle to begin with. Wish I'd bought a real hospital table in the first place.

Very easy to put together. I have a laptop and a radio on mine and still have lots of room for a cup of coffee and a book. The adjustable height lets you make the top surface even with another desk. It is a bit short for a standing desk for me (6 feet tall). I have a power bar zip-tied to the cross bar, which makes things neater. I'm very happy with it. Recommended.
